Activities are the provision of venues, facilities, equipment and organisers for the playing of Bridge at St.James Communty Centre, Morpeth

Village Hall.This is for the use of the whole community for social,sporting.educational and fund raising purposes.

Education and training,general charitable purposes and sport and recreation for women in the local area

To advance education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Wooler and its surrounding locality.

This charity provides a meeting place with kitchen facilities, a large hall and smaller annex, all of which can be hired and/or used for social activities, meetings and education and training purposes.

Provides opportunities to commemorate Hindu religious and cultural activities for the Bengali Hindu community in North East England and other interested people.

NHR is the hospital broadcasting service for Northumberland and North Tyneside. The Charity also provides a public address, music and commentary service for outside events.

Fundraising for school and school children

Promoting educational and cultural activities and courses for the members of Eglingham W.I.

Provision of guided walks in and around Haltwhistle Northumberland

supporting local and regional charities/organisations personally recommended by Trustees

Recreation, leisure pursuits, Childrens play area. Our current groups are:Woman's Institute, Historical Society, Carpet Bowls club, Flower Show, Parish CouncilMeetings.

Working with children between 6 & 16 years of age teaching skills and citizenship as laid down by the Scout Association

the group exists to provide & manage 3 angling events for the disabled ages from 7/77 each event is well supported by members Carers volunteers. These individuals are all registered disabled wheelchairs users, visual impairment and /or learning difficulties. The ethos of the group is one of friendship and social inclusion and promotes well-being & increases self-esteem amongst the disabled people.

The Sunday for Sammy Trust raises funds via concerts and DVD sales which it distributes as grants to performers at the outset of their career who need financial assistance for training, fees, equipment etc.

Sunderland AS is run by volunteers who promote the science of astronomy to the people of North East England. We host group visits to our observatory at Washington Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust as well as holding regular open evenings for the general public.

The charity owns and makes available to the public a collection of Roman antiquities.

The Friends of Berwick and District Museum and Archives support, and promote use by the public of Berwick Art Gallery and Museum and Berwick Record Office. This is achieved through several means. Local history and the work of the Record Office and Museum is promoted via a website and annual lectures; volunteers contribute to projects, help at events, and raise funds to support our aims.
