To grant travelling scholarships to men and women aged between 21 and 35 working and/or living in the city or county of Nottingham. The scholarship consists of a gift of money to enable them to visit the United States of America for a period of generally between one month and three months.

We are a community gospel choir affirming God's name and ministering to both members and the wider population through gospel music. We meet on Wednesday evenings (term time). We sing at various events arranged by ourselves or invited by other organisers.

Provision of activities for adults with learning disabilities in City of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, namely weekly clubs for drama, dance and poetry. Residential visits, meals, theatre visits. All 500 old students receive newsletters, birthday and Christmas Cards.

The Promotion of good heath by:Providing facilities or opportunities for the playing of sports or participation in other forms of physical activity. Relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health or financial hardship. To support the development of young people in the local community reducing ASB and low level crime.Support the unemployed to find sustainable employment.

We are an independent and entirely volunteer-run organisation organising social activities for adults with learning disabilities. We provide an outlet for social interaction specifically for adults with learning disabilities to socialise with their peers on a regular basis, in a safe and friendly environment, in the form of weekly evening sessions and seasonal day trips at the weekend.

We are part of the Spiritualists National Union and offer services to the general public along with information on our religion.

The CDCT provides support to University students of Graphic Design (BA or MA), across the East Midlands {De Montfort University, Loughborough University, NottinghamTrent University, University of Derby, University of Lincoln, University of Northampton}.

Education about Islam, primarily for converts and those with an active interest in the faith.Provision of training and information for community service personnel who are likely to come into contact with converts to Islam (eg, for mosque staff and volunteers, hospital and prison chaplains, etc)

TEN CHURCHES IN WEST BRIDGFORD AND SOUTH NOTTINGHAM TOGETHER SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RUNNING A DEBT HELP CENTRE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NATIONAL CHARITY 1097217 CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY. WE HELP LOCAL PEOPLE WHO ARE IN DEBT, TO WORK THEIR WAY OUT OF DEBT. WE ARE CHRISTIANS BUT WORK WITH PEOPLE OF ANY FAITH OR NONE.

We operate within Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire and provide a support group for people living with prostate cancer. Currently we have around 30 members. We also work to raise awareness of prostate cancer within the local community. We liaise with PCUK & John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre. We are developing an App with Trent University to raise awareness. We are working with GMB Union.

It advances Christianity through instruction and edification of the public in a Christian way of life. It provides the Congregation and members of the wider community access to religious worship at its Gospel Halls and, in accordance with the moral and ethical teachings of Holy Scripture, members of the Congregation and others are encouraged to live exemplary lives in the wider community.

The main aim of the charity is to promote and enhance the physical and mentalwell-being of young people and adults through the practice of sport and fitness, in all sectors. Our vision is to; promote self awareness, confidence and self-esteem, provide financial resilience and life skills trainingand support the aspirations of all through education opportunities and employability advice.

The Association manages a community centre providing many and varied activities for people of all ages and disabilities in the local community in the promotion of health and fitness, art and crafts, and social events including general charitable purposes.

Grants are awarded after application and approval to Christian organisations of any denomination for the further advancement of the Christian religion in Nottingham and it's neighbourhood. Stipends and salaries are not supported.

To relieve either generally or individually persons resident in the City of Nottingham who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.

To provide day care facilities to African/Caribbean Elders and people of other communities in the city of Nottingham. To provide support to those elders who have dementia to improve the quality of their life and promote self worth.
