The object of the charity is the promotion of the efficiency of the South Notts Hussars Yeomanry by;a) providing facilities and amenities for training and during serviceb) relieving financial need of current, or past, Yeomanry or their dependentsc) providing and maintaining a museum to record the achievements of the Yeomanry

Nottingham Open Spaces Forum is an independent charity which brings together Friends of Groups, other volunteers, community gardeners, partner organisations and other stakeholders to create a support network. We aim to work together and in partnership with Nottingham City Council and other public landowners to promote, protect, conserve and enhance the open and green spaces of our city.

We work to relieve financial hardship among families living or working in the City of Nottingham or the County of Nottinghamshire by providing toys, toiletries and other items to children, young people and their carers at Christmas time, which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.

Scouting as per our P.O.R

We provide a weekly riding lesson from March to October for a small group of disabled riders at a riding centre based near Blidworth Nottinghamshire. The benefit the riders get is immense, from helping to improve their core strength to boosting their confidence or helping to improve their communication skills which in turn gives them more confidence to build relationships.

The object of the charity is to relieve and support the families and carers of adults suffering enduring or recurring mental illness throughout Nottinghamshire. The activities of the Committee include raising awareness of carer issues with health and social care staff and providing support to carers through our newsletter and social events with information about mental health and related issues.

The promotion of social inclusion and equality and diversity for transgender people in the Nottinghamshire region, who are often socially excluded due to prejudice and historic injustice. This is delivered through provision of support groups, other support events and small targeted grants to those experience financial hardship associated with their circumstances.

Objects The Charitys' Objects (the Objects) are to provide or assist in the provision in Nottinghamshire, of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupations and for the advancement of education for people between the ages of 18 - 40 who have need thereof by reason of a physical or mental disability with the object of improving their conditions of life.

General Charity

FUNDRAISING FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL

We raise money to support young people with mental health issues. We do this by holding music events in Nottingham. We also organise other activities such as sponsored marathons and corporate events. We currently support OPUS which is an organisation that goes into hospitals to work with patients by engaging them in high quality music activities to the benefit of their health and wellbeing.

To provide one to one coaching to improve adult literacy in Nottingham area

developing new skills - mapping, knots, camping, social activities, day trips, badge work, games and sports.

My charity's current activities are fundraising.

To encourage the wider appreciation of the work of Nottingham Museums, and give financial help in purchasing artefacts.

Provide financial relief to people who reside in the area of the city of Nottingham or attend St. Nicholas Parish Church..

General Charitable Purposes

Fund raising for charitable donation through social events

To help towards the cost of outings and visits for the children of Radford Primary School, Nottingham.

To support the Bishop of Nottingham in the requirements to train future priests and deacons for the Diocese of Nottingham:-by raising funds to support this cause; by investing them appropriately; and by making appropriate donations to the Bishop from the accumulated funds.

Cake stall, Tombola, Easter Egg, Bottle stalls. A Christmas raffle. Money we raise goes to help patients. We hold these stalls in the main entrance of the Eye department.

The main activities of the charity are to provide grants which help to relieve poverty and sickness and advance education both domestically and internationally.

Provision of office accommodation in Nottingham City for Charitable associations. Update as at 2012 Annuual Return - the office naccommodation has now been sold due to a lack of tenancy over an extended period. The Trustees are working with the Charity Commission to agree on how the proceeds of sale are to be distributed.
