Working towards establishing the new centre whilst managing and running day to day activities at the existing building.

To benefit the residents of Woodborough Parish and the neighbourhood, without discrimination, by associating together the said residents and local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of benefiting the Institute's users.

IN ORDER TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF THE EVANGELICAL DENOMINATION IN THE CITIES OF NOTTINGHAM AND DERBY; AND TO RELIEVE POVERTY AMONG REFUGEES, ASYLUM SEEKERS WITHIN THESE REGIONS THE CHURCH ORGANISES FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES TO RAISE MONEY AND USES DIFFERENT FORMS OF DONATIONS SUCH AS TITHES. OFFERINGS TO MEET THESE OBJECTIVES.

1. Advancing the Odinist religion for the public benefit in Newark and area in accordance with the teachings of the Odinist Fellowship.2. Providing a house of public worship at the Newark Odinist Temple for the celebration of regular services according to the ritual of the Odinist Fellowship published in its Book of Rites.3. Opening the Temple to the public as a showcase for the religion.

In accordance with the terms of the Trust grants are made to C of E clergy within 10 Miles of St Peters Church Nottingham at the Trustee discretion to augment their living costs . The Trustee is satisfied that the purposes remain charitable. The Trustee have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charity Act 06 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Comm.

Raising Funds For The School

The object of the charity is the promotion of the efficiency of the South Notts Hussars Yeomanry by;a) providing facilities and amenities for training and during serviceb) relieving financial need of current, or past, Yeomanry or their dependentsc) providing and maintaining a museum to record the achievements of the Yeomanry

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE RESTORATION, PRESERVATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT AND BEAUTIFICATION OF THE CHURCH OF ST MARY THE VIRGIN, NOTTINGHAM, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE IN THE DIOCESE OF SOUTHWELL AND NOTTINGHAM , INCLUDING THE MONUMENTS, FITTINGS, FIXTURES, STAINED GLASS, FURNITURE, ORNAMENTS AND CHATTELS IN THE CHURCH BELONGING TO THE CHURCH.

We work to relieve financial hardship among families living or working in the City of Nottingham or the County of Nottinghamshire by providing toys, toiletries and other items to children, young people and their carers at Christmas time, which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.

Nottingham Lions Wheelchair Basketball delivers wheelchair basketball to disabled and non-disabled people within the community around Nottinghamshire area. We provide equipment for our sessions (including wheelchairs where possible).

We provide a weekly riding lesson from March to October for a small group of disabled riders at a riding centre based near Blidworth Nottinghamshire. The benefit the riders get is immense, from helping to improve their core strength to boosting their confidence or helping to improve their communication skills which in turn gives them more confidence to build relationships.

The object of the charity is to relieve and support the families and carers of adults suffering enduring or recurring mental illness throughout Nottinghamshire. The activities of the Committee include raising awareness of carer issues with health and social care staff and providing support to carers through our newsletter and social events with information about mental health and related issues.

The promotion of social inclusion and equality and diversity for transgender people in the Nottinghamshire region, who are often socially excluded due to prejudice and historic injustice. This is delivered through provision of support groups, other support events and small targeted grants to those experience financial hardship associated with their circumstances.

General Charity

To provide one to one coaching to improve adult literacy in Nottingham area

Helping unemployed people in the most deprived areas of Nottingham. Providing professional appropriate work wear, training and support to raise employment prospects and contribute in a practical way to reducing worklessness in disadvantaged communities. Dramatically increasing confidence of those who struggle to believe in themselves and so find it difficult to sell themselves to an employer.

We raise money to support young people with mental health issues. We do this by holding music events in Nottingham. We also organise other activities such as sponsored marathons and corporate events. We currently support OPUS which is an organisation that goes into hospitals to work with patients by engaging them in high quality music activities to the benefit of their health and wellbeing.

Dedicated to raising awareness for childhood brain tumours The Jorja-Rose Foundation was established after the death of Jorja-Rose from pineoblastoma brain tumour aged just 2years 10 months. The lack of awareness for this devastating disease is forefront of our goals whilst also supporting families at Queens Medical Center Nottingham. We engage various in fundraising activities within Nottingham.
