The Nottingham Aged Persons Trust was originally set up in 1980 (previously known as 'The Working Man's Retreat'). The aim of this fund is to provide grants to individuals 60 years or over, to support emergency and urgent needs that cannot be met in any other way.

InterVol support student volunteering groups at universities in the UK. Our projects work with both local and overseas partners on a range of charitable projects including education and refugee services. Fund raising in aid of Edale Rise Primary and Nursery School includes Winter and Summer Fairs and smaller activities throughout the year.

Shiefton offers a Supplementary School & self defense classes to children from across the city of Nottingham. Shiefton also provides services to support young people over 16 to develop training, skills and employment opportunities in areas of Nottingham recognized as significantly deprived. The organisation has agreed a name change to Shiefton Youth and Community Enterprise.

Small grants are made to female individuals who are in need of financial assistance and who worship at Sherwood United Reformed Church.
