General Charitable Purposes

Fund raising for charitable donation through social events

InterVol support student volunteering groups at six universities: Birmingham, Nottingham, Lancaster, Oxford Brookes, SOAS, and Imperial College London. Our projects work with both local and overseas partners on a range of charitable projects including education and refugee services. Volunteers gain skills and training while small grants are provided to our partners through fund-raising.

To help towards the cost of outings and visits for the children of Radford Primary School, Nottingham.

Cake stall, Tombola, Easter Egg, Bottle stalls. A Christmas raffle. Money we raise goes to help patients. We hold these stalls in the main entrance of the Eye department.

Provision of office accommodation in Nottingham City for Charitable associations. Update as at 2012 Annuual Return - the office naccommodation has now been sold due to a lack of tenancy over an extended period. The Trustees are working with the Charity Commission to agree on how the proceeds of sale are to be distributed.

To support the Bishop of Nottingham in the requirements to train future priests and deacons for the Diocese of Nottingham:-by raising funds to support this cause; by investing them appropriately; and by making appropriate donations to the Bishop from the accumulated funds.

B.H.T.A.'s objectives are to promote the town's historical, archaeological, natural, architectural and geological heritage and to preserve this heritage and the environment in which it exists.

Offers financial support to young and student choristers in the choir of St Peter's Church, Nottingham for furtherance of their musical education and experience.

Supporting The Future's goal is to positively impact children's and young peoples lives through sport. The work we do is currently in South Africa, specially in Cape Town and Lesotho. Shiefton offers a Supplementary School & self defense classes to children from across the city of Nottingham. Shiefton also provides services to support young people over 16 to develop training, skills and employment opportunities in areas of Nottingham recognized as significantly deprived. The organisation has agreed a name change to Shiefton Youth and Community Enterprise.

The Nottingham Aged Persons Trust was originally set up in 1980 (previously known as 'The Working Man's Retreat'). The aim of this fund is to provide grants to individuals 60 years or over, to support emergency and urgent needs that cannot be met in any other way.

Over a generation to rebalance the outer estates of Nottingham North with the skills, jobs, leisure, health and other factors to develop balanced sustainable communities, turning around lives in this socially and economically disadvantaged area

Pays for regular cleaning and maintenance of the gutters, gullies, drains and roofs of St Mary The Virgin Church in Clifton Village Nottingham.

Fund raising in aid of Edale Rise Primary and Nursery School includes Winter and Summer Fairs and smaller activities throughout the year.

Small grants are made to female individuals who are in need of financial assistance and who worship at Sherwood United Reformed Church.

We raise money to allow children and young people with autism and similar conditions to access equine assisted therapeutic learning. We operate in the East Midlands.

To advance the education of the public on matters concerned with the heritage, protection, conservation and enhancement of historic designed landscapes of Nottinghamshire for the benefit of the general public and to promote research into the heritage of such landscapes, ensuring the useful results of such research are disseminated to the public.

The principal object of the charity is to assist disabled people in Nottinghamshire by: (a) promoting and supporting the full participation of disabled people in society (b) actively working towards disabled people having the means to determine how they live their lives.
