To care for and support children with life limiting and life threatening conditions and their families, resident in South Yorkshire, some parts of North Lincolnshire, North East Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire

Support people affected by life limiting illness, by providing Day Therapy meeting social, clinical & emotional needs through 7200 places. Hospice @ Home 40,000 hours pa so people die in preferred place. Care for the bereaved and Carers. Generating income through 12 shops and fundraising activities to provide services free of charge.

The charity supports people with learning disabilities to achieve a good life in their community by providing care support, day service and accommodation services.

Supporting women and children or their dependants who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence. Operating a 24 hour freephone helpline, a drop in service, outreach support for women and children, independent domestic violence advocate service, RISE support schemes, refuge provision, pets fostering scheme and domestic violence training for individuals and agencies.

We help motivated students from disadvantaged backgrounds win places at top universities.

Since its launch in 1990 Broadway has become a nationally recognised cultural leader, bringing the world of independent British and international film to Nottingham and across the Midlands, supporting innovation in art and technology and providing a platform for talent, learning and conversation to inspire creativity and a lifelong love of film.

The Charity provides services for older people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire within the following categories; Housing Services, Advice, Advocacy, Health & Wellbeing including Day Care and Core Services.

The objects of the Charity are the advancement of the public benefit anywhere in the world of the religious and other charitable work of the Congregation of Roman Catholic Priests and Brothers known as the Augustinians of the Assumption as the Trustees with the approval of the Superior General of the Congregation shall from time to time think fit.

Disability Direct is a support service for disabled people. We are also an umbrella agency for smaller groups of disabled people. We are an organisation of disabled people and currently employ 14 paid staff and 35 volunteers.

The Charity's activities centre around educational, social and pastoral work in addition to supporting the work of the Sisters overseas in areas of greatest need associated with the under privileged, the vulnerable and the deprived. Such activities spring from the original purpose of the Congregation which was to bring good news to the poor.

Religious activities

A BROAD PROGRAMME OF ACADEMIC STUDY ENABLES ALL PUPILS TO FULFIL THEIR POTENTIAL. ALL PUPILS LEARN TO THINK AND WORK INDEPENDENTLY. THE OUTSTANDING PASTORAL SYSTEM GUIDES PUPILS, PROMOTING PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND IN THE SCHOOL/WIDER COMMUNITY. EACH PUPIL WILL DEVELOP SKILLS, WHICH WILL ENABLE THEM TO BECOME A RESOURCEFUL AND REPONSIBLE MEMBER OF SOCIETY.

Marches Energy Agency (MEA) specialises in the delivery of practical, effective and creative ways of promoting and enabling energy reduction and renewable energy solutions.

The promotion of agriculture and related industries via the Nottinghamshire County , Midlands Machinery and Newark Vintage Tractor Shows. Home to Notts YFC, Long Service medals, the loan of equipment to related organisations, and local shows' conference. Grants for Nottinghamshire agricultural machinery apprentices and students, educational sponsorship. Venue hire through a Trading Company.

ThinkForward is a breakthrough programme which intervenes early to ensure that disengaged young people make a successful transition from education into employment. ThinkForward works with schools to identify young people entering their GCSE years who are most at risk of being unemployed when they leave school, and commits to supporting them for five years through their transition into employment.

New Roots provides supported accommodation in Bassetlaw & Newark & Sherwood to homeless and vulnerably housed young people between 16-21yrs. We work with single young people, couples and young parents. It is the aim of New Roots to support all service users in the development of independent living skills and making the transition to suitable and permanent accommodation within their own community

The Charity funds research and improves treatment and care for local people living with and after cancer. The Charity provides care and support for people affected by cancer, during and after treatment, through our information and support centre and outreach work. We also fund: (1)research into the causes of, and improved treatment for, cancer (2)cancer treatment services.

TO FURTHER ASSIST IN THE EDUCATION AND SOCIAL WELFARE (ON A SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL BASIS) OF BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN WITHIN SHEFFIELD AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS THROUGH THE USE OF THE GAME OF FOOTBALL (INCLUDING ITS HISTORY AND RULES) AND OTHER ANCILLARY SPORTING ACTIVITIES AS EDUCATIONAL TOOLS.

The Trust provides and maintains gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians, often referred to as 'Brethren'. The Trust also holds public outreach days and distributes nutritious food packages and gospel literature to homeless and needy persons
