1st Gotham Scout Group aims to provide young people from the age of 6 to 18, and beyond, the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities designed to motivate and challenge them, whist having fun with their friends and peers. Raise funds to meet the aspirations for Islamgarh Welfare Trust (IWT,) which provides primary health care and community education facilities for the poor and needy people in and around the town of Islamgarh in Mirpur, AK, Pakistan. The IWT has just completed construction of a Community Hospital.

THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR PLAYING SPORT AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

We run and maintain our local community centre, we administer the hiring of the centre by a nursery and local groups and residents for the provision of community activities or parties. We also organise events in order to raise money for the continued maintenance and necessary upgrades to the building.

Providing services for local Chinese people and Chinese related issues. 1) Improve the quality of life of Chinese people with language and intergation problems. 2) Providing a range of support services for Chinese people. Our services include: Housing assistance, Home visiting, Translation, Counselling Services, help with GP, dentists and hospital appointments, help with forms and letters.

Nottingham Symphonic Winds (NSW) consists of Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra (NSWO) and Nottingham Wind Ensemble (NWE). The groups perform concerts for the general public and help raise funds for other charities and similar organisations.

Christian faith based religious activities, Community support and development projects to alleviate suffering and poverty in our local community, empower young adults on vocational skills. Supporting other charities who help to alleviate suffering and poverty. Embark On Evangelical Missions, organise Leadership Training, Teachings, Seminars, Counselling, Discussions, and Revival.

Community drop-in, offering coffee bar, internet job-search support and signposting to appropriate advice & support services.

Support of the activities of the Derby Bach Choir and other musical activities in the Derby and East Midlands area.

The Trustees must apply the income of the Charity in furthering the objectives which include the relief of hardship and advancement of education of women and girls living in Nottinghamshire. Applications are received from women for funds to assist with hardship or for educational purposes and considered by the trustees during two annual awards rounds.

The promotion, fostering, improvement and advancement and public education in the art and science of music, singing, and dance and the arts, and the operation of an amateur orchestra of a charitable nature only

THE CHARITY ASSISTS ORPHANED OR VULNERABLE YOUNG PEOPLE IN RWANDA BY PROVIDING ACCOMMODATION, FORMAL EDUCATION OR VOCATIONAL TRAINING. THEY LIVE IN THE ?FAMILY HOME?. THEY ARE TAUGHT KEY LIFE SKILLS SUCH AS FOOD HYGIENE, BUDGETING AND PERSONAL HEALTH. THE AIM IS TO EQUIP THE YOUNG PEOPLE SO THEY WILL BE ABLE TO MOVE OUT INTO THE WIDER COMMUNITY AND INDEPENDENTLY MAKE A LIFE FOR THEMSELVES.

The giving of grants

Willoughby pre school playgroup provides children from the ages of 2 - 5 years with a pre school education. The pre school is OFSTED regulated and provides the chidren with the latest Government requirements.
