The charity allows its land and buildings to be used by members of the local community for private functions and by user groups for activities including bowls, rugby, football, line dancing, archery and craft classes. It has a connected trading company which runs a licensed bar and which transfers any taxable profits it makes to the charity under a gift aid agreement.

Our object is to advance the education of older people no longer in gainful employment in Keyworth and its surrounding locality. We also aim to provide facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interest of their social welfare.

Provision of a free to enter Museum Gallery which showcases the military and social history of The Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire's Cavalry from 1689 to the present day.Provision for family research and an on site educational research facility.Preservation and conservation of artefacts and archival material.

Scouting in the Ashfield District of Nottinghamshire.

Community meetings, events and classes are held throughout the year. The hall is used for regular meetings for the Croxton Kerrial Church, Croxton Kerrial and Branston Parish Council and other Community groups within the village.

Events and activities are undertaken within the WI regulations, to provide women with educational opportunities and to build new skills, to campaign on important issues that matter to them and their communities.

The Church holds regular meetings for public worship, which include preaching and teaching the Christian faith and celebrating the Lord's Supper and baptism. We provide pastoral support for church members and attendees, and seek to make the Christian faith more widely known and accepted in our local community.
