General fundraising events for PTA

To promote the education of persons under the age of 25 years of age who are, in the opinion of the Trustees, in need of financial assistance and who have a parent or parents resident in Calverton, Nottinghamshire.

Activities include art, craft, music, cooking, first aid, sports, outdoor pursuits & camps, all ran in conjunction with a progressive badge system, which is available to boys and girls aged 6-14 years, with the object of instructing them in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship. Meetings: Mon 7.00pm Band, Weds 5.45pm Beavers, 7pm Cubs, Thurs 7.30pm Guides, Fri 7pm Scouts.

To apply the capital and income of the charity in the relief of the poor and needy or to such other charitable institution, society or object.

To raise monies through fundraising activities and donate to deserving causes. To organise Service activities to help those in need in the community.

Working in and around Retford, we - provide defibrillators for use by the public- train people to use defibrillators and CPR to save lives- educate people about heart health.

This charity's area of activity is confined to the Villages of North Muskham

The village hall provides a venue for social, religious, political, educational and other activities for people in the area.

The Sitwell Singers is a mixed-voice Chamber Choir which rehearses regularly during term-time, covering a wide range of pieces from renaissance to the present day. We perform at least 5 public concerts p.a, often with professional instrumentalists and soloists and also arrange an annual "Come and Sing" event in which members of the public participate in the study and performance of a choral work

TEN CHURCHES IN WEST BRIDGFORD AND SOUTH NOTTINGHAM TOGETHER SHARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RUNNING A DEBT HELP CENTRE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NATIONAL CHARITY 1097217 CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY. WE HELP LOCAL PEOPLE WHO ARE IN DEBT, TO WORK THEIR WAY OUT OF DEBT. WE ARE CHRISTIANS BUT WORK WITH PEOPLE OF ANY FAITH OR NONE.

To support and empower, adults and children from underprivilege communities, through skills and education to equip them to meet the challenges of global labour market. We help the local people of the community by arranging projects and activities in education, training and leisure/ recreational activities.

School Fund Account

This is a village community centre for the use of all residents in the Toton area.

The maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Sturton Le Steeple in the county of Nottinghamshire with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

We operate within Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire and provide a support group for people living with prostate cancer. Currently we have around 30 members. We also work to raise awareness of prostate cancer within the local community. We liaise with PCUK & John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre. We are developing an App with Trent University to raise awareness. We are working with GMB Union.
