MONEY HAS BEEN SPENT ON IT EQUIPMENT, SPORTS EQUIPMENT, LEAVERS BOOK, RESIDENTIAL TRIPS AND PANTOMIME TRIPS AS WELL AS A FEW SMALLER PROJECTS FOR THE SCHOOL AND LOCAL COMMUNITY.

The U3A is a national organisation of which Bingham U3A is a an autonomous branch. The U3a offers eductional and social opportunities to people in their third age ie retired or semi retired. We draw our members from Bingham and the surrounding villages.

Local fundraising activities through volunteer efforts of the Rotary Club in Ravenshead and Blidworth, Nottinghamshire. Dispersal of raised funds to local and international good causes as determined from time to time by the Club Council and the Trustees.

The organisation's objects are to advance the education of the public in all aspects of dramatic art and the development of public appreciation of such art by the provision of a theatre and facilities for the presentation of public performances. We aim to present three full productions of our own each year, plus youth theatre and touring theatre plays and music.

The organisation of a Music and Drama festival in which people of all ages can perform as either competitors or non-competitors in all types of music and drama classes.
