We provide financial assistance to individuals and groups within South Wolds Community School to provide equipment and/or resources that cannot be funded by main school funds.

The charity operates in West Stockwith, a small village in the north of Nottinghamshire. It provides assistance to people in need who are 65 years of age or over and who live in the parish of West Stockwith.

The charity uses funds raised to provide equipment to enable the children at Mapplewells Primary & Nursery School to have access to better facilities. For example we have provided new staging for the school and kits for the football teams.

PROVIDING A RURAL CLUB FOR PEOPLE BETWEEN 10 AND 30 TO SUPPORT THEIR PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

The Sorby Natural History Society is the Natural History society for the Sheffield City region, providing education, research and publications, including biological and geological recording of wildlife, habitats, rocks and landscapes. Operates mostly in Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the Peak District.

Making grants to individuals in need who reside within the ancient Parish of Wilford.

The U3A is a national organisation of which Bingham U3A is a an autonomous branch. The U3a offers eductional and social opportunities to people in their third age ie retired or semi retired. We draw our members from Bingham and the surrounding villages.

The objective is to provide free or cheap emergency accommodation and nourishment to women or children who are suffering hardship due to breakdown in family relationships. Also to provide, education, training and support to enable them to access the employment market and become independent and self sufficient.

The Trust has continued to organise a programme of events during the year, both on site and at other venues, allowing for Covid restrictions. We have arranged an Easter Egg trail, sale of volunteer made bird and bat boxes, bird spotting trail, a bat watch, make your own Mothering Sunday giftm a Pumpkin Trail and we also opened during Heritage weekend in September. The grounds are always open.

We study our scriptures and literature for understanding and comprehension. We promote respect, compassion and affections for mankind, animals and environment. We respect all communities for harmonious living. We have a discussion group and vegetarian club and encourage talks and discussions on religious, cultural and healthy living styles.

We are a non-competing band and encourage a relaxed, but professional, approach to our music making.The band welcome new players of all capabilities, with a Training band suitable for all ages and experience, and instruments are provided where necessary. We perform for a wide range of public and private events mainly across Derbyshire.

School for students with moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties. Financially supporting students with residential activities, off site activities and specialist equipment to meet the needs of the children.

On July 11 2014 we opened as a museum we made BBC Central News on several occasions. Our last appearance was Inside Out February 2019.We work with local schools, scouts, U3A etc. Within the museum we have photographs, artefacts showing past mining equipment and the social history of a mining village.We have done outreach at Bestwood, Mansfield, Pleasley, Langwith, Rufford and Newark.

We are a small charity based in the East Midlands and our mission is to help young people aged between 18-30 years and suffering from kidney disease. Through donations and fund raising events we will assist in funding recreational activities, days out, holidays and the purchasing of equipment to make their lives more bearable whilst raising awareness and the impact of kidney disease
