An independant charity created for public benefit to promote humane behaviour towards horses by providing advice and / or appropriate care, protection and security of horses due to sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances and ill usage. Where ever possible this will be through support of the horse owners through guidance and education.

The provision of grants to young people in the parishes of Bunny, Bradmore and Costock for educational purposes and to help Bunny CE School with facilities it cannot receive through the Local Education Authority.

One and a half per cent of the income is given to Beckingham Parochial Church Council, Nottinghamshire. The balance of the income is for the benefit of the Parishes of Gainsborugh, Lea and Morton, Lincolnshire to assist persons in need and to contribut to and support charitable associations, institutions or trusts.

Fund raising by club members from market stalls, coffee mornings, accepting donations, supporting other clubs in raising money

The awarding of Prizes based upon success in the examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and other factors.

SCHOOL FUND RAISING

We aim to keep awareness of Mansfield Fire Museum. We have open days, go out with a mobile unit showing fire service memorabilia in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. We encourage adult and child group visits, and we do school visits about the Great Fire of London. Raise funds by donations and Tombolas, preserve and restore fire related items for the future

Meetings held regularly for Lindhurst Womens Institute

The Henry Nicholson charity has a current policy of providing Winter fuel allowances for the elderly of the Parish. Graveyard maintenance for those in the parish unable to tend graves. Grants for the purchase of books/equipment for students of the parish. Grants to local primary school for special projects. Donations towards charities that serve the local community.

To support the Bishop of Nottingham in the requirements to train future priests and deacons for the Diocese of Nottingham:-by raising funds to support this cause; by investing them appropriately; and by making appropriate donations to the Bishop from the accumulated funds.

The Charity exists in order to reduce the risks inherent in driving on public roads. This is achieved by improving driver education and skills, thus improving road safety and hopefully reducing the number of accidents and deaths on the roads of the East Midlands

Income from Investment which are invested forever (from the sale of the original Poor Close Land), the income is used by the charity for its charitable objects

The Heritage Trust formed to help to rescue historic buildings at risk giving them a new use within the community and allowing others to learn more about heritage.

To provide grants for the promotion of education and trianing, social and physical, of persons under the age of 25 years who live or who have attended schools in the Parish of Kimberley or adjoining Parishes, or whose parents are resident in the said Parishes and who are in need of financial assistance

Part of the national federation of women's institute providing women in the community the opportunity to take part in local and national groups aimed at increasing education and awareness at local and national levels

To apply trust funds for the benefit of the public in the sound development, administration and knowledge of the law in Nottinghamshire by enabling magistrates to attend legal conferences and courses and by providing or assisting in the provision of a law library for them.
