Relief of poverty

The advancement of education for the public benefit in Nottinghamshire, in horticulture and related subjects, by lectures, demonstarations, discussions and visits to horticultural sights of interest.

The charity has fulfilled its main object by donating 99% of its income in 2019 - 2020 to St Mary's RC School in Loughborough and to causes in the Philippines and Tanzania.

Fundraising for good causes

To promote for the benefit of young people with learning difficulties and disabilities in Nottinghamshire the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation. The object of improving their conditions of life.

Advancement of education of persons under the age of 25 years who are resident or who have a parent or parents resident in the Parish of Beckingham and who in the opinion of the Trustees are in need of financial assistance.

The Woodhouse Educational Foundation regularly requests claims from the parents of children living in the village who are having difficulty paying for school uniform, books, educational equipment etc.Information as to how to apply is provided in the village newsletter. The village school is also consulted in case it has particular needs.

To support the Bishop of Nottingham in the requirements to train future priests and deacons for the Diocese of Nottingham:-by raising funds to support this cause; by investing them appropriately; and by making appropriate donations to the Bishop from the accumulated funds.

Charity acts within the village of SOUTH CLIFTON, Newark, Notts. NG23.

Income for use at the discretion of the Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham.

The object of the Association is to relieve cardiac patients who are sick; convalescent; disabled;handicapped;infirm or otherwise in need of assistance and to generally support the charitable work of the cardio thoracic unit at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield by the provision of of specialized equipment not normally provided by the Local Health Authority.

Provides mobility services (eg mobility scooters, walking sticks, etc) to local people with a disability, on a temporary basis.

An independant charity created for public benefit to promote humane behaviour towards horses by providing advice and / or appropriate care, protection and security of horses due to sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances and ill usage. Where ever possible this will be through support of the horse owners through guidance and education.

The provision of grants to young people in the parishes of Bunny, Bradmore and Costock for educational purposes and to help Bunny CE School with facilities it cannot receive through the Local Education Authority.

The main activities of the charity are to provide grants which help to relieve poverty and sickness and advance education both domestically and internationally.
