Kenya Children Centres cares for 2,000 poor orphaned and vulnerable children at our 8 feeding centres in slum villages, in families in the community and at our homes for abandoned babies and children. Our outreach projects support destitute families with education, counselling, micro-business grants, clothing and personal hygiene items.

The Hummingbird Centre offers support, complementary therapy and friendship to people affected by cancer. The focus of our activities is to create a place to meet, get information, be pampered and have fun: a space in which to relax, escape daily life pressures and have the opportunity to talk to others who can help support both practically and emotionally.

The activities include: regular worship, prayer, bible study, preaching and teaching; Baptism and the Lord's Supper; evangelism; mission to young people; the nurturing of individuals in the Christian faith;pastoral care and social action; the provision of a drop in centre, cafe and meeting rooms for the use of the local community; provision of community events for all ages.

Pre-schoolWe provide five morning and afternoon sessions per week to enhance the development of and education of children under statutory school age in a parent involving community-based pre-school group.

The aims of LFC are to allow HM Forces personnel, along with a limited number of civilian Members and others deemed eligible for Membership, an opportunity to obtain flying instruction and recreational flying in light aircraft as economically as possible. LFC is open to all ranks, and provides a chance to acquire flying skills whilst developing airmanship and promoting an interest in flying.

We operate as a pre-school providing educational care for 2-5 year olds following EYFS guidelines. We are OFSTED registered and are a non -profit registered charity.

Pre-School aims to enhance the development & education of children primarily under statutory school age, offering appropriate care facilities, play & learning. We ensure that it offers opportunities for all children whatever their race, culture, religion, means or ability. Parents are encouraged to become fully involved. The aims of the Pre-School Learning Alliance underpin all our practice.
