Friends of Pangbourne Primary School (FOPPS) is committed to organising fun events which improve community relations and provide sociable entertainment for parents and children and to raise much needed funds to benefit the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The fund-raising activities we organise enrich our community by providing an opportunity for village residents to meet and interact. The grants we provide to St Swithun's School are able to significantly improve the environment and facilities available to the members of the school community and increase enthusiasm and engagement, enhancing the learning experience for pupils and staff alike.

The only community space in Brightwalton. - for hire for regular, public and private hire. Currently home to many community groups and activities including annual fete in May.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL BY RAISING FUNDS TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY).

Village Hall for use by residents and local community. Activities range from the very young to the elderly: Bridge Club, WI, Keep Fit, Dementia Care Day Centre with lunches on two days a week, Parish Council Meetings, Table tennis club, Social evenings, Hall and Committee Room available for Hire for Parties, meetings and functions.

Running community transport services for such inhabitants of the parish of Greatworth & Halse and its environs.

To manage and provide access to the community garden to all local communities

The charity is for the benefit of school age children within the Shrivenham area.

Our object is to advance the Christian faith, principally through the provision of grants and project funding for individuals or organisations. Key focus areas are on training, education and the support and welfare of young people, with a particular focus in sub-saharan Africa.

To provide facilities for individuals of all ages, other charites, voluntary organisations and the general public. To promote education, training, arts, culture, sport and recreation.

The LPFA manages the village recreation ground which includes a Childrens Play Area, an enclosed Multi Use Games Area and two Football Pitches. It also administers the running of the hall adjacent to the recreation ground.

Hire and upkeep of East Challow village hall

Friends of St James Hanney is a group of volunteers who fund raise in order to provide money to St James Primary School. This money is used to provide equipment for the children, improve the outside space and subsidise the cost of educational school trips.

The object of the charity is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities and coaching for the sport of canoeing for both adults and youth in the Abingdon area.

Organising TEDxOxford, a TEDx conference (x = independently organized TED event) where speakers from many different fields present short talks to an audience.

REGULAR SILVERSMITHING AND JEWELLERY MAKING CLASSES ARE HELD IN THE WORKSHOP AS WELL AS WEEKEND COURSES WITH FURTHER SPECIALISMS. WE NORMALLY PARTICIPATE IN OXFORD ARTWEEKS AND HAVE AN OPEN WORKSHOP FOR A WEEK. WE HAVE A BIANNUAL SELLING EXHIBITION OF MEMBERS' WORK AT THE OXFORDSHIRE MUSEUM, WOODSTOCK. WE ADVISE MEMBERS OF RELEVANT EXHIBITIONS AND LECTURES.

Support local and national charities as required via manpower, or fundraising events,fundraising itself or raising awareness.Creation of community days in the local area,including health awareness day,blood pressure screenings and family fun days.

The objects of the League of Friends are to mobilize, encourage, foster and maintain the interest of the public in the patients and support the work of the Moreton-in-Marsh (North Cotswolds)District Hospital. To provide a link between the hospital and the community which it serves and to support the charitable work of Moreton-in-Marsh (North Cotswolds)District Hospital.

Provision of accomodation for persons who qualify as almspeople under the terms of the trust deed. In the absence of qualifying almspeople the trustees may rent houses to others who the trustees consider deserving.
