UWA is helping poor orphans in Bangladesh to continue their education. To support The Christian Hospital Quetta, Pakistan and its outreach clinics in relieving sickness and to advance the education of those working in the hospital. We distribute funds to subsidize the treatment of patients who are too poor to pay and to help the hospital to meet capital expenditure in improvement of facilities and purchase of essential medical equipment.

Spencer West Foundation makes grants to charities and causes nominated to it by people who work at any of the offices of international law firm Spencer West. Spencer West colleagues are required to have an established connection with the charity or cause they nominate, which connection helps ensure the grant is spent for the purpose for which it was provided.

July 5th 2010The charity was launched at the House of Lords through the kind Patronage of Baroness Flather and Chief Guest was the Lord Speaker Baroness Hayman. The Charity reflects Pakistani women of the United Kingdom and that our Friends For Life should be women of Pakistani origin as well as women of other nationalities who have an affinity for Pakistan.
