Our aim is to promote arts and cultural heritage of India. We achieve this by organising celebrations like Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, Rabindra Nazrul Jayanti and other cultural programmes throughout the year.We arrange charity events and raffles to raise money and we have donated to charities like BBC Children in Need, St Mungos Bournemouth, Julias House, Bournemouth Womens Refuge and others.

The charity activities include but are not limited to: LGBT community members advocacy, LGBT supportive policy advocacy, training & related online and direct educational services, research, information resources creation & dissemination, volunteering, partnering activity to support LGBT and LGBT Allies in counteracting anti-LGBT behaviour & discrimination across Dorset, Wessex & beyond (UK level)

Westbourne Orchestra is a symphony orchestra comprising 50-60 members performing at least 3 concerts each year, primarily in the Dorset area.

A variety of Fundraising events or Beaucroft School - yearly events include Christmas Fayre, BBQ and Bingo and some one off events in previous years including Golf Day, Fashion Show etc

Many Guide units and Brownie Packs have enjoyed their activities with Poole East Division. Camping and outdoor experiences along with more adventurous activities at outdoor education centres. We have been part of the large County camp this year.

The Chapter of Canons is a college of priests, whose role is to celebrate the more solemn liturgical functions in the Cathedral and to support the life of the diocese in their prayers.Statutes of the Plymouth Diocesan Chapter 1.2For the purposes of civil law the object of the Chapter is "Divine Worship in the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Plymouth and matters connected therewith".Statutes 1.5

Education information and interests of women

The advancement of the Buddhist religion, particularly but not exclusively, the Sakya edition of Tibetan Buddhism, both nationally and worldwide.

Southern Union Chorus promotes and encourages the singing of four-part male-voice harmony in the Barbershop style. We aim to advance, improve, devlop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of the art of Barbershop singing. Income from public Sing-Outs provides donations to deserving Charities. We run annually a free 'Learn to Sing" course open to male members of the general public.

The charity's activities are chanelled towards supporting its aim: 'To enhance the quality of life for local children and their families undergoing treatment for cancer'. We raise money, receive donations (which we gift aid). The money is spent eg. a weekend at Center Parcs for the children, siblings and parents. Families are often pauperised when a child is ill - we pay bills.

Research and publish local history of Poole and surrounding areas

To advance the Christian faith in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire in accordance with the charity's Statement of Beliefs. To establish a partnership of Bible-centred churches in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, working together to train Christian leaders, equip Christian believers, strengthen and plant churches and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We Plant, Promote and Protect trees throughout Dorset. We run a schools project"My Life My Tree, Growing together" in 4 rural schools to introduce children to our objectives. We give talks and run demonstrations of tree planting and management. Where relevant we comment on national policy consultations concerning trees We give grants as well as plant trees ourselves.

The Story Works runs structured story writing workshops at Bournemouth University for local children aged 7-18 years of age.

Provision of support to young and adult carers living in Poole. Support includes organising and funding activities that provide breaks to carers and providing financial assistance to individuals to enable them to have breaks.

The charity arranges social activities to bring together the Hazara Community in our area. We are planning to provide Dari language classes for our children soon.

The preservation and protection of good health among people living with or affected by cancer and theirsupporters for the public benefit in particular by:a) the provision of facilities for exercise and physical activity, in particular dragon boating and otherwater sports capable of promoting physical health and fitness, to support rehabilitation during andfollowing cancer treatment.

The object of the association is to advance the education of the pupils at the school by helping to provide facilities for education in the school which are not normally provided by the LEA or any other relevant statutory authority.

To relieve hardship among persons of the Jewish faith in Dorset and Hampshire. To visit Jewish patients in their private homes in hospitals and in nursing and residential homes. aim is to provide a safe accessible route for walkers, horse riders, cyclists and the disabled to the benefit of both local inhabitants and tourists (visitors) to Dorset.Specifically to establish a Public Bridleway route along the course of the old Somerset and Dorset Railway line, initially from Stalbridge to Corfe Mullen and eventually to connect with the Castlemain Trailway at Broadstone.
