Charities In Poole

We are a small charity raising monies for the improvement of entertainment facilities for teenagers and young children in the Piam Brown unit and the teenage cancer trust unit, Southampton General Hospital.

This charity operates to raise funds for educational purposes for the benefit of children attending Winchelsea School.

Poole Quays Forum was formally adopted in July 2013. The Forum has developed a neighbourhood plan for the area in Poole Town and Quay and Hamworthy East.It is an opportunity for interested parties to share ideas and work together to improve the social, economic and environmental well-being of the area.

Provides Concerts of West Gallery Music mainly in the county of Dorset but also occasionally in neighbouring counties.

TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF OAKDALE, POOLE, DORSET.SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME (WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH THE LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER PERSON OR BODY).TO PROMOTE SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED.

The Association promotes the music of the pipe organ by lectures, demonstrations of instruments and their construction, demonstrations of music for organ and for voices, open competitions and by help to organists and choir trainers to improve their standard of performance. Membership is open without restriction to any member of the public.

To provide on memory sticks, audio tapes, CDs and audio files on a website, local news for the blind or partially sighted, in the Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Purbeck and East Dorset area.

PROVIDE CHRISTMAS FOOD PARCELS FOR THE NEEDY AND OLD RESIDENTS OF POOLE DORSET

To fund the teaching locally, of autistic children and young adults on the Applied Behaviour Analysis mehod. Obtain current medications and therapies for the support and welfare of autistic children and young adults.

Training Ugandan youth, with a priority on females, in operating mechanised agricultural equipment, organic farming and in soft skills for the work place. This is done at a Youth Empowerment Training centre, The centre is based in Northern Uganda.

The relief of persons suffering injury or sickness by the voluntary provision of immediate medicaltreatment to any person involved in serious accidents or medical emergencies in Dorset and its environs.To advance to education of healthcare professionals in treating such patients through the provision of lectures and fora.

Delivering services with partners to protect victims, witnesses and/or offenders involved or affected by crimeSupporting public, private and voluntary sector organisations to access crime prevention materials, advice and guidanceWorking with academic partners to enhance the evidence-base around what works to protect people and reduce crimeDistributes grants to support other organisations

Activities such as foot ball, basketball, swimming, music, community projects, educational trips, face to face meetings to discuss different topics of interest to the young people. Youth Empowerment Platform seeks to engage young people in activities that seeks to address mental, physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing in a safe environment.

Supporting Masonic charities in province of "Hampshire & Isle of Wight". Supporting Masonic charities nationally "Grand Lodge of England-Wales". Donations to some named charitable institutions. Projects for childrens activities & care of the elderly, hospices & hospital appeals.

The Charity operates primarily in the Ringwood and local regional area for individuals with disabilities who are in need of but unable to afford treatment by making grants to them. It also provides advocacy /advice and information on the various forms of treatment.

To promote the preservation, restoration, maintenance and improvement of Poole Park for the education and benefit of the public; by associating local authorities and inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of the lives of the inhabitants.

For young people who are neurodiverse, or have characteristics linked to neurodiversity aged 14 to 25 years living in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and surrounding areas. Providing advice and assistance to support individual development and awareness of neurodiversity within the wider community.

We provide or assist in the provision of recreation and leisure facilities in Whitecliffe, Poole, Bournemouth and the wider area to improve the quality of life and health of local people.The Charity also promotes community participation in healthy recreational sports including football, cricket, athletics, cycling and such other sports capable of improving physical health and fitness

To advance the charitable activities of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra by providing or assisting in the provision of resources by which the orchestra may undertake activities of a musical education not financed by national or local authorities and to further other charitable purposes directed at improving the public taste and appreciation of the art of music.

Firmitude exists to advance the amateur sport of women's football and other sports capable of improving physical and mental health for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of facilities and opportunities to participate in these sports; and to promote community participation in healthy recreation.
