We want to see these communities healthy, diverse, vibrant and flourishing. Our mission is to empower the voluntary sector, enable volunteering and involve communities. ICN supports refugee families whilst they integrate into the local community; by teaching ESOL (English for speakers of other languages); giving immigration and welfare advice - registered OISC Level 1; and running various community & social activities for women and families. ICN also looks after unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC) and resettled families for Local Authorities

Dorset Reclaim operates across Dorset & western Hampshire as a furniture re-use project, collecting surplus electrical appliances, household items and furniture from local people and businesses.Our aims are to supply good quality items at low cost, provide a range of volunteering and training opportunities and to reduce the amount going to landfill by service provision and education.

Age Concern Bournemouth, Poole & East Dorset works with and for people over 55 in Bournemouth, Poole & East Dorset. Activities include social clubs and centres, information & advice, register of reputable tradespeople, pubs club, days out, walking groups, yoga classes, Chair exercise foot care support at home, foot care clinic, dementia services & community connections

Services of Worship in 3 centres. Other weekly activities to include children and young peoples work; work with older adults.

Gateway Church Poole is a Bible-based, lively church serving Poole and the surrounding area with the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. It also supports and assists mission in other parts of the UK and overseas. Being part of the Advance network of churches is its focus for achieving this.

Aim Community Ltd provides education, mentoring and creative learning programmes for young people to assist with personal development, life skills, confidence and self esteem. Aim Community specialise in supporting those young people with education, health and care plan needs.

We are a friendly and informal Christian church on the west side of Bournemouth in Westbourne. We are a mix of people from different areas and countries and at different ages and stages of life and there is something for everyone on Sundays and throughout the week. Our vision is to make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

Community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit the provision of facilities for playing sports, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Poole of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

The Parks Foundation provides and enhances the facilities and equipping of parks and green spaces within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole for the benefit of the community. The Parks Foundation also aims to advance public education in subjects related to parks and green spaces, and to provide leisure and recreation facilities supporting social welfare.

Religious activities.

Home-Start Wessex is a family support charity that provides vital care to families at a crucial time in their lives. The support is offered to families with at least one child under 5 through individually designed packages of practical and emotional help lasting for around 6 months. This is either provided with one-to-one support in their own homes or through group support and therapy.

The major museums that tell the story of Wessex (Dorset Museum, Poole Museum, The Salisbury Museum, Swindon Museums and Wiltshire Museum) working in partnership to support the museum services, activities and facilities of accredited museums in Dorset and Wiltshire.

Hamworthy PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, Revd Tessa Nisbet, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for the Church Centre complexes of St Michael's and St Gabriel's in Hamworthy and governance responsibilities for St Gabriels Pre-School.

Charitable community and outreach activities including dementia clubs, respite club, social pop-in clubs, coffee mornings, special interest groups, carers support groups, befriending, transport, day trips/coach holidays, theatre/events.The services are often provided in collaboration with other third-sector organisations. Potential to take on other community centres/activities in other areas.

Crumbs, has the objective of providing education and social inclusion for adults with learning disabilities and long term mental health issues. This is through our professionally recognised two year hospitality & catering vocational training programme that provides professional, social and personal skills development to support the trainees into employment and independent living.
