Raise funds for school.

Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make positive contribution to society. It also provides youngsters with the opportunity to engage in both indoor and outdoor activities and to pursue a whole range of challenges.

The Royston Memorial Hall. For the purpose of a village hall for the use of the community of Bronllys and the surrounding areas in the County of Powys. without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the community.

To manage a Village Hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Cusop and the surrounding area

Provision of a cooked 2 course hot meal once a week for the local communities elderly & vulnerable members at the local Leisure Centre to promote social interaction & reduce loneliness for the individuals.

Youth Brass Band drawn from North Powys schools. Weekly practice sessions and regular public performances.

Provision and maintenance of the public toilets in Ystradgynlais for the local community.

All our activities focus on the advancement of education and promotion of exercise, diet and leading a healthy lifestyle. These activities are designed to create interest in the playing of association football and encourage the development of young players by inspiring, exciting and educating children and young people.

PARENTS & FRIENDS RAISING MONEY FOR THEIR SCHOOL THROUGH LOCAL ACTIVITIES.

We aim to provide a village hall, for use of inhabitants of New Mills, Manafon and surrounding area. We hold six meetings a year and regular fundraising events to help with the upkeep of the hall.

To provide a community based transport service within a radius of 10 miles from Welshpool in Powys. Our participants using the scheme are given taxi tokens to enable them to access taxis operating on our behalf. The scheme is for the benefit of people who are disabled, elderly, frail or otherwise disadvantaged in terms of their mobility due to poverty, isolation, mental ill health or hardship.

To advance the education of the public in the preservation and the historical and cultural importance of Cwmhir Abbey through the provision of information, events, research and continued learning

Organise fund raising events for the benefit of Hay CP School

The Friends of Llangynidr School organise fundraising events in order provide resources for the children of Llangynidr Primary School.

Apply for Grants to assist the Hospital.Run Raffles etc;Organise Open Days with Stalls to assist the Hospital.Receive Donations from the general public.

Provision of village hall to local community

THE VILLAGE HALL IS AVAILABLE TO HIRE FOR ACTIVITIES. CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE YOGA, PLAYGROUP, REHEARSALS, CONCERTS, SCHOOL SESSIONS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, MEETINGS, TRAINING AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS. IT IS ALSO USED FOR FUNERAL TEAS AND WEDDING RECEPTION/PARTIES.

Scouting activities for boys and girls living in the Group's catchment area, which includes Coelbren, Caehopkin, Penycae and Abercrave in the Swansea Valley. The Group has a Beaver Colony, a Cub Scout Pack and a Scout troop.

All kinds of competitions, social events, accredited training courses, overseas exchanges and many more activities.

Supporting local, national and international charities and deserving local causes

We are a non-profit charity that has been set up to help promote good mental health of veterans and serving members of the armed forces, who are suffering from combat related health issues. We are based in run from Swansea, South Wales, with a parcel of land near Pen-Y-Fan, which will be transformed into a retreat, that veterans and serving members of the armed forces can use for free.

PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY

The Charity is intended to assist elderly people or anyone suffering hardship or any other person who deserves support and also makes payments for Higher Education to assist students with fees, travel or other maintenance.It is limited to residents of the community of Castle Caereinion.

To provide a venue for local activities, classes and entertainment. Also is available for hire by local groups and individuals.
