THE VILLAGE HALL IS AVAILABLE TO HIRE FOR ACTIVITIES. CURRENT ACTIVITIES INCLUDE YOGA, PLAYGROUP, REHEARSALS, CONCERTS, SCHOOL SESSIONS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, MEETINGS, TRAINING AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS. IT IS ALSO USED FOR FUNERAL TEAS AND WEDDING RECEPTION/PARTIES.

All kinds of competitions, social events, accredited training courses, overseas exchanges and many more activities.

We are based in Newtown, Powys Mid Wales. We arrange fund raising events to support charities/good causes both locally and world-wide

The Charity is intended to assist elderly people or anyone suffering hardship or any other person who deserves support and also makes payments for Higher Education to assist students with fees, travel or other maintenance.It is limited to residents of the community of Castle Caereinion.

Fund raising included Skittles night, Bingo night, Raffles, Open Garden, Coffee Mornings, Bag Packing at local Supermarkets, Shop and Local table top sales and the Hospital Tea Trolley.

PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR LOCAL COMMUNITY

Used by the public for leisure and recreation

Raising monies for School via Christmas Bingo, Easter Bingo, School Disco,Summer Fair, Ladies Lunch, Urdd Refreshments, and bag packing

Management committee provide facility, comprising main hall seating 120 people, committee room seating 30, modern kitchen, modern toilets/disabled, disabled ramp/access, large stage, dressing rooms, curtains, spot lights, post office, short mat bowls mat and equipment, car park charges reasonable, suitable for conferences/parties.

To maintain a multi-sports facility for the people of Newtown

Six concerts per year by up and coming artists and local young musicians for music lovers of all ages.

Sennybridge YFC is open to all young people aged 10 to 28 years of age. They offer a programme to include; training, community projects, rural crafts, sport, drama and much more.

Aid for Archdeacon Griffiths Church in Wales School

Youth Brass Band drawn from North Powys schools. Weekly practice sessions and regular public performances.

Parish Hall for use by local and surrounding communities.

The Village Hall is located in Mid-Wales, close to the Shropshire boarder and is available for community use and to hire.

Provide activities for children from 6 - 14 years of age in line with the Scout Associations guidelines

Church Bellringing-training and education. Grants for bell restoration.

Manages Pontrobert Village Hall for the benefit of the Community

The charity is affiliated to the third age trust and provides facilities for: 1. Special interest groups to meet regularly in furtherance of their interest. 2. Visiting speakers on subjects of general interest and 3. Any connected social activities arising.

We operate a foodbank offering food, baby items, pet food and essential items together with linked support, services and advice to individuals and families in financial need. We also offer our premises for use by local groups as a community space.

Van Village Institute is used as a community centre for the Van village and surrounding area

Normally we host professional theatre performances and our year comprises at least one such performance, our annual pantomime and monthly entertainment evenings.We put on two plays and provide a meeting place for local groups.We bring theatre in all its forms to the people of Dolgellau and district.Post Covid we are getting back to some kind of normality.

Established in 2002, the North Wales Owl Sanctuary (owlrescue) operates a comprehensive facility for the care & rehabilitation of both wild and captive bred owls from the region, along with the promotion of owl conservation throughout the region.
