We support St Marys, Brecon by providing and assisting in the restoration, preservation, repair, improvement and beautification of St Marys church and by providing additional facilities and contributing towards the cost of maintaining the ministry at the church and the day to day costs incidental thereto for and on behalf of the Parochial Church Council or successor.

The Shropshire and Mid-Wales Head and Neck Charity has been established with the aim of providing facilities, equipment and training to treat patients (children and adults) with Head and Neck conditions. This includes ear and hearing problems, nose problems, cataract and eye problems, mouth and throat problems as well as major head and neck cancers.

Keeping members up-to-date on topical issues, particularly those affecting our members.Townwomen's Guilds play a key role in communicating important national issues to government bodies and the media and collectively voice their concerns to change and improve the livelihoods of women.

We monitor barn owl and bat nesting sites and where necessary provide nesting boxes or partial renovation of buildings to protect the nest.We also provide illustrated talks and field walks to educate the public.2014-2015 we received a Heritage Lottery Fund grant to enable us to put cameras in all our boxes in order to monitor barn owls with the least disturbance. Trehafren Hall Community Group manage Trehafren Hall in Newtown. The Hall is used for a number of purposes including Pre-school group; Salvation Army church and Birthday parties.

Development of the courses for Christian Disciples that form the basis of the Genuine Imitation materials. Making financial donations to others in order to help in some small way those in poverty or under personal threat to their safety who are known to the Trust.

Provides self catering accommodation in mid Wales for disadvantaged schools and youth groups from Birmingham.

Organising fundraising events, day and evening, to buy equipment for Berriew CP school.

Organise and undertake fund raising events for Ysgold Trefonnen CofW school. The funds raised are spent on educational equipment for the school

The Caerllan Charity Trust is administered by a group of Trustees who all live within the former Parish of Llanwrthwl. Those to benefit from the Trust's funds are widows, widowers, one parent families, families with a member experiencing a long term illness, single people of state pensionable age, and familes the Trustees feel would benefit from an added financial bonus.

Parent's and their Babies/Toddlers meet once a week for 2 1/2 to 3 hours in the local village hall. The children are able to play and interact with each other with a variety of toys/books etc. A sit down activity is done with the children weekly e.g. painting, drawing, making. It is also good socialisation for the parents.

To hold in Trust for the benefit of the community the building known as The Old Town Hall. To be responsible for the leasing and maintenance of the premises.
