Churchstoke Little Explorers is a Pre School Playgroup. We run five days a week and also run a weekly Parent and Toddler group and an After School Club.

ALL ACTIVITIES ARE RELATED TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE ROLE OF PLAY AND RECREATION.

We are an independent Advice Centre providing free, confidential information, advice and support for the people of Mid Wales in particular the Dyfi Valley.

We operate community wellness groups, support for those in need, along with advice and practial support to those who are elderly, vulnerable, carers or those with disabiliies.

The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture Limited was formed in August 1987 as a Charitable Trust to display to the public the works of Sculptor Andrew Logan, to advance the education of the public in England and Wales. PROVISION OF PROFESSIONALLY-LED, HIGH QUALITY AND MULTI-DISCIPLINARY THEATRE PRACTICE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 8 YEARS AND UP IN A SPARSELY POPULATED, RURAL AREA OF MID WALES. MPYT?S ACTIVITY IS BOTH NON-COMPETITIVE AND NON SELECTIVE, AND ENCOMPASSES WORKSHOPS, MASTER-CLASSES, VOCATIONAL TRIPS AND LIVE PERFORMANCES.

Bro Cyfeiliog a Mawddwy seeks to advance the work of the Church in Wales locally through worship and community activities.

The charity provides buildings and facilities for the community.

Cycle promotion, personal growth and skill build based on cycle maintenance training.

We cover the seven areas of learning within four sessions each week. A parent and toddler group operates alongside. We organise various fundraisers throughout the year as well as social events - such as Fun Days, Baby Sales, Singalongs, Easter, Halloween and Christmas parties for the children. Our Sports Day is held in July.

Providing boat trips for people with disabilities on the Montgomery Canal at Welshpool. Two boats are in operation and both are specially adapted with lifts/ramps/wheelchair access etc.

Our purpose is to establish and manage a Heritage and Arts Centre, housed in the former Congregational Chapel in Llanwrtyd Wells. By doing so we shall be preserving a landmark building of historical, religious, cultural and social significance to the Welsh community and advancing the education of the public in the history, geography, culture, environment and other features of life in our area.

Provision and upkeep of community hall for use by all members of the village and surrounding area, thus enhancing the community life of the inhabitants of Trefeglwys by providing communal facilities and promoting community projects of a charitable nature.

Running a local youth organisation, namely the Town's Scout Group and management of the Scout building which is also one of the town's community facilities.

The charity takes in animals who are stray,abandoned or in need of a care for whatever reason and re-homes to suitable vetted new owners. A neutering service is also a major part of the charities work. Feral cat colonies are also trapped and neutered and returned where possible to their original site. The charity works closely with other similar like minded charities in the Powys area.
