CAMAD is a volunteer centre and community support project covering the Dovey Valley in Mid-Wales. We promote and encourage volunteering and help potential volunteers find suitable opportunities. We also run community support activities, using volunteers, such as community transport, meals on wheels,lunch clubs and Foot care and "PATHWAYS Drop inn for people with Mental Health problems.

Religious activities

The Object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith according to Baptist principles and in accordance with the Statement of Faith. This object is pursued by carrying out activities such as prayer meetings, worship services and social gatherings at the chapel situated in Dolley Green, Presteigne, Powys.

Providing grants of money to groups and clubs that wholly or mainly benefit the inhabitants of Brecon without distinction of sex or of political or religious or other opinions.

Rescue - Rehabilitation - Education. The rescue of horses, ponies and donkeys, to relieve the suffering of these animals and to rehabilitate them. To provide all necessary facilities that is required to support this work. To promote the care and welfare of animals by inviting the general public, various groups, those interested in animal ownership, and on education of animal welfare matters.

The Offa's Dyke Association aims to promote the conservation of Offa's Dyke and other linked sites of archaeological interest, and to help the general public understand and enjoy the monument. It operates from its free-to-enter museum base, the Offa's Dyke Centre in Knighton, Powys. Its conservation and public engagement projects are often delivered through partnership with others.

To relieve patients and former patients of The Victoria Memorial Hospital Welshpool who are sick convalescent disabled handicapped infirm or in need of financial assistance and generally to support the charitable work of the said hospital

Rhayader Under 5's Pre school based within Rhayader Church in Wales Primary School. We are a high quality and friendly early years care and education setting, catering for children aged 2 to 5 years, mainly through the medium of English with the use of some Welsh. We follow the Curriculum for funded non-maintained nursery settings.

Setup originally to develop the Ty Brith Field through the provision of various facilities but primarily the building of a new Community Centre. Since this objective has been achieved the Association continues to oversea the running and further development of the Centre together with continued improvements to the playing field facilities for the benefit of the local community.

THE PROVISION OF FOOTBALL ACTIVITIES DELIVERED BY QUALIFIED DISABILITY COACHES, PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF CHILDREN ON THE ASD SPECTRUM, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE AND INTEGRATE ABLE CHILDREN INTO MAINSTREAM FOOTBALL TEAMS; (B) THE PROVISION OF A YOUTH CLUB TO ASSIST WITH LIFE SKILLS TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AND PROVIDE A SAFE FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN.

The Charity runs a community centre known as The Westenders Hall. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this year no productions were made and as a result no income was raised, with the exception of room hire. The money outstanding from the 2020 pantomime was paid in June 2020.

The charity's object is to promote sustainable development for the benefit of the public and it does so principally by by providing information on ways by which householders and others can reduce their carbon budget, especially energy use in the home. The Going Wild project raises awareness of environmental issues particularly the global Ecological and Climate Emergency.

The charity works in the field of visual and applied arts. We specialise in the incubation, fostering, encouragement, the development and promotion of the emerging talent from Pembrokeshire and the western fringes of Wales. The gallery will be an independent showcase, a centre of excellence and information hub and focal point for the visual arts in West Wales.

HMT has continued to organise a series of regular classical music concerts in and around Hay-on-Wye. Events have been often accompanied by a related talk, film or exhibition. In addition, HMT ran its annual chamber music festival, based on the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, which featured three concerts with the Quartet and other professional musicians, together with a community outreach events.

Care and Development of pre school children

Welsh medium pre-school in Builth Wells, providing education to children aged 3 to 5 years.

Cylch Meithrin Penybontfawr is a pre school Playgroup, registered for children ages 2.5 years until school. The Cylch runs 4 days a week. The language of the Cylch is predominantly Welsh, and many of the children attending are from non- welsh speaking homes and quickly absorb Welsh as their second language.

Our purpose:The conservation, protection and improvement of the River Wye and tributaries for the benefitof the wildlife and public through a programme of volunteer river monitoring and by theadvancement of the education of the public in the understanding of the importance of riverquality on biodiversity, economic and social activity.
