The establishment of a Mosque to facilitate the holding of prayers, lectures and celebration of religious festivals in Redbridge, Essex; holding of classes teaching the Quran for the Muslim community and National Curriculum subjects by the holding of evening classes for children; and to relieve hardship and poverty by the provision of support, guidance and grants to individuals and organizations.

Regular public worship open to all.The provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved.Promotion of Christianity and individual spiritual growth through sermons, the staging of events and meetings, small groups, and courses.Supporting other charities in the UK and oversees.

For the benefit of staff and patients

We provide weekly Sunday morning Christian worship services and additional opportunities for worship, prayer and Bible study in Wanstead in the London Borough of Redbridge. We support Beavers, Cubs and Scouting activities and provide space and facilities for community organisations and events. We also support local community organisations and hold cultural and social events.

Principal activity is that of propagating hinduism and working towards the social, cultural, spiritual and educational uplift of one and all. To promote human rights including children. To construct recreational centres for youth and children and setting up centres for adults needing care in third world countries including but not limited to India,Mauritius and African Countries.

Provides meditation classes, study programmes, retreats and day courses.

The main activities in relation to the objects are:~ Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.~ To advance education in accordance with Christian principles.~ Poverty Alleviation locally and overseas

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PEOPLE WITH AUTISM AND/OR LANGUAGE, COMMUNICATION OR INTERACTION DIFFICULTIES, PARTICULARLY THOSE CURRENTLY OR PREVIOUSLY ATTENDING, OR SUPPORTED BY PHOENIX PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL. TO SUPPORT INTERNATIONAL WORK WITH LINK ORGANISATIONS WORKING WITH PEOPLE WITH AUTISM AND COMMUNICATION DIFFICULTIES.

Education/training, religious activities, economic/community, development/employment, relief of poverty, sport/recreation.

Promotes Jainism which advocates non violence, goodwill towards all mankind, animal welfare and vegetarianism. Organises social, cultural and religious functions surrounding the aspects named above. Promotes physical activity and encourages special interest groups like women and youth to come together and network. Conducts religious discourses and prayers with emphasis on respect for the elderly.

Provides funds for specific projects or equipment within the school to further and enhance education.

Religious Activities

IQRA FOUNDATION UK CARRIED OUT THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:FUNDED GET TOGETHER SESSIONS WITH THE AIM OF ENGAGING THE ELDERLY OF THE COMMUNITY.SPONSORED ENGLISH LANGUAGE, COMPUTER AND BASIC SKILLS COURSES IN SYLHET, BANGLADESH.

ADVICE & INFORMATION SERVICE - WELFARE BENEFITS, EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING ISSUES, ACCESS TO EDUCATION, HOUSING.DANCE & CULTURAL EXCHANGE- PROMOTE AN INTER-GENERATIONAL EXCHANGE OF CULTURE. MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT ? MOTIVATIONAL SESSIONS, FREE COUNSELLING, REFERRALS AS APPROPRIATE. OUTREACH, ENGAGEMENT & TRANSLATION SERVICES- OUTREACH SESSIONS, ADVOCACY SUPPORT & TRANSLATION SERVICES.

Supporting and providing educational activities for ethnic minorities mainly but not exclusively from East African countries living in the London Boroughs of Newham, Barking & Dagenham, Tower Hamlets and Redbridge.

Access for all community performing arts activities for children and dance for adults.

In 1981, following various negotiations and proposals between the present Chairman of the Abbess Adelicia Charity and the then Lord Salisbury (since deceased) the owner of the Ilford Hospital Chapel complex, the site, including the Chapel and a ?50,000 endowment was transferred to the newly formed Abbess Adelicia Charity which has administered the Ilford Hospital Chapel complex ever since.

Promotion and performance of orchestral concerts

WEEKLY LUNCHEON CLUB AND DROP IN SERVICE FOR, DISABLED, ELDERLY, ISOLATED, LONELY AND DEPRESSED WOMEN IN THE REDBRIDGE AREA. WE PROVIDE YOGA AND KEEP FIT TO MUSIC SESSIONS, ADVICE AND INFORMATION SEMINARS ON A RANGE OF HEALTH AND SAFETY MATTERS, OUTREACH SERVICE PROVIDING HOME AND HOSPITAL VISITS. REGULAR CLINICS HELD BY PSYCHOLOGIST. VISITS AND TRIPS.
