AWD Response North East is a Charitable organisation that provides emergency services during extreme weather conditions. They are dedicated to helping people who are stranded, delivering food and water to remote areas, and assisting with road closures. Their service is free, and they prioritize those who are in the greatest need of assistance.

Education and Training to Children and Young People

To provide, in the interests of social welfare, a public recreation ground for the use of former employees of Smith's Dock -their families, friends and residents of the surrounding area. To ensure the war memorials for the employees of Smith's Dock who lost their lives whilst serving in the great wars and aboard La Bastiaise is maintained and to ensure an annual Remembrance Service takes place.

We act in the interest of refugees and asylum seekers to ensure entitlement to the same rights as others and needs being met with respect to housing, health, education and legal protection.
