provide assistance to homeless people to find accommodation, provide bond guarantees to assist people to access accommodation.provide educaion and training on issues surrounding homelessness and to provide positive images of homeless people.Assist homeless people in their efforts to return to local comunity.

Our charity looks after stroke patients and their carers. When people come out of hospital after stroke once their needs have been assessed by social services and provided with all necessary equipment they are left entirely on their own. This means that because of their disabilities they are mainly confined to their home. We endeavour to bring them back socially into the real world.

Sporting Activities

WE RUN A YOUTH CLUB FOR BLIND AND SIGHT IMPAIRED CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS. WE MEET EVERY FRIDAY EVENING WHERE THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS CAN SOCIALISE WE ALSO TAKE THEN FOR DAYS OUT AND HOLIDAYS. WE HAVE OUR OWN MINI BUS WHICH COLLECTS THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS FROM THEIR HOMES AND RETURNS THEM, THE MINI BUS IS ALSO USED TO TAKE THE YOUNG ADULTS AND CHILDREN FOR DAYS OUT AND HOLIDAYS

We run a monthly support group in Teesside for anyone affected by the death of a baby, lead by trained peer supporters (all of whom have experienced the death of a baby themselves). We also provide support via email and social media. We work with healthcare professionals, to improve understanding and support given and also to provide education through training to improve bereavement care.

During the pandemic and the ensuing months our activities were necessarily limited. We did make up mouth care packs consisting of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and information about head and neck cancer. These were distributed to food banks in local areas. Thanks to helpers in Stockton and Darlington.We are now beginning the process of strengthening the charity with some new trustees and supporters

Assist in building simple homes for young people in Uganda where parents have been unable to complete homes. Sponsor children by assisting in their education and helping families who are vulnerable and in need due to unfortunate circumstances.

The organisation promotes the use of the village hall for the benefit of the residents. We arrange activities including training, as well as recreation and leisure. Also raise money to improve the Hall and the environment in the Village itself.

Programme of activities, to be used during unit meetings, is supplied by the Guide Association resources. Variious charitable works are also undertaken under supervision of the leaders.

North East Mission aims to see an end to homelessness in the North East.Currently NEM runs Durham Winter Night Shelter.

Institute of Advanced Motorists affiliated group promoting road safety by providing information and advice fostering advanced motorcycle riding skills in the North East of England.

Support the development of life skills and enhance development opportunites for the 11-19 year age in the Durham Tees valley area including advancing education, relieving unemployment and providing recreational leisure time activities in the interests of social welfare.Provide schloarships to deprived students overseas to enable them to study in the UK.Alleviate poverty in 3rd world countries.

The Cleveland Unit is the child development centre and nursery for the South Tees area. The Unit offers multi disciplinary assessment, therapy, early years education and parental support to children who have low incidence special needs and their families. The fund provides for specialist seating, books, off-site visits, and more large and small items for the day to day running of this service.

To raise funds for the preservation and conservation of the ;Zetland' the world's oldest surviving lifeboat (now 213 years old) and to assist in the upkeep of its environment. Funds are raised by donations, sale of prints of the lifeboat and by the holding of bookstalls. cakestalls & stalls for sale of bric-a-brac etc

Regular monthly meetings at which expert military historians give lectures on the Great War 1914-1919, with particular reference, though not limited to, the Western Front.Provides advice on the methodology of, and research into individual participants, Units and Actions.Provides public information through attendance at schools, exhibitions etc.

Special Needs School for 192 full time pupils, plus a nursery with 13 part time pupils, with severe and profound learning difficulties and disabilities. Catchment area of Redcar/Marske/Dormanstown/Grangetown/Eston/South Bank/Normanby in the Borough of Redcar & Cleveland.

Aims to secure the conservation, repair and maintenance of land and buildings of historic, architectural or artistic interest, or any part thereof, situated in Whitby and surrounding areas, for the benefit of local residents and the public generally.
