We provide complementary therapy treatments free of charge to people living with cancer and their carers. These include: Aromatherapy massage; Scar tissue massage; Reflexology; Reiki; Hypnotherapy; Counselling; Homeopathy; Nutrition advice; Meditation; Psychotherapy, Shiatsu, Manual lymphatic drainage.

The charity is a Wheelchair Rugby team operating in the South Wales area. The charity provides an environment for people with varying dissabilities to play the sport of wheelchair rugby.

Assist in providing comfort and equipment for in-patients and day unit patients, together with cancer sufferers and palliative patients in the local community.

We are a well establish Community Centre which is managed by a Board of Trustees. We host an array of activities and opportunities for both our community and our neighbouring communities. Activities vary subject to availabity, need and funding. We are currently working hard to re-engage the community in returning due to the pandemic and its negative impact on the centre.

Religious activities

BETHEL EVANGELICAL CHURCH RUNS MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDING TWO SUNDAY SERVICES, A SUNDAY SCHOOL, BIBLE STUDIES, PRAYER MEETINGS, AND PARENTS AND TODDLERS MEETINGS. THE SICK AND NEEDY ARE VISITED. HELP IS PROVIDED FOR THOSE IN NEED. FINANCIAL SUPPORT HAS BEEN GIVEN FOR HOME AND OVERSEAS MISSIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE CHURCH'S AIM OF GIVING 10% OF OUR INCOME.

The principal activity is the advancement of the Christian religion for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statements of belief contained in the Church Constitution and Confession of Faith.

Provide facilities for indoor and outdoor sport and recreation for use by clubs and members of the local community.

We take in and re home small animals that are lost or abandoned. We microchip vaccinate and re home. We also neuter as many cats and dogs as we can and help those on low income to pay their vet bills.

COMMUNITY HALL

Edible culture operative is a charitable trust set up to promote growing local food, foraging and permaculture for resilience, education, health and the alleviation of poverty.We work with people of all ages to help them engage in a healthy relationship with the natural world.

To maintain the ancient guildhall for the benefit of freemen of Llantrisant and the community of Llantrisant.

To maintain the upkeep of Rhigos Community Sports Hall so as to provide equipment and a venue for the benefit of the people of Rhigos and neighbouring villages to pursue sporting and recreational activities for the benefit of their health and well being

To advance public awareness of Choral Music. To entertain audiences at the same time To safeguard, uphold and preservethe Musical Heritage and alnguage of Wales. To promote the pursuit of Musical Excellence in local schools and encourage the pursuit of Musical excellence at the Welsh College of Music and Drama through an award system Through out Wales, Europe and other parts of the world.

Income is raised through the activities of YHF fund-raising committee via raffles, fetes and an annual Christmas Charity Ball. Income is also received from parents' fund-raising activities and from donations by local businesses/organisations.Income raised/received is used to improve resources/facilities for the pupils of Ysgol Hen Felin.

Cynon Valley PALS provides Play And Leisure Services for children with disabilities in the Cynon Valley, South Wales. We provide activities during school holidays and various trips/activities throughout the year for children aged 3-19yrs.

To provide and maintain a Christian witness within the local community and surrounding area; providing a place for worship, fellowship and teaching of the Christian Faith. To provide suitable support to the proclamation of the Christian faith in the UK and abroad. To provide suitable support to humanitarian aid projects in the UK and abroad.

Little Lounge exists to;1) help children and young people through recreational and leisure time activities and by providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities.2) benefit inhabitants of Cilfynydd (RCT) and the surrounding area.

Society Objectives:-1. To promote animals and plants of the countryside, objects of geological, historical and archaeological interest.2. To promote the formation of Nature Reserves and to assist in their supervision.3. To foster interest in Nature Conservation through public meetings, film shows, exhibitions, publication of books, our Annual Newsletter, leaflets and general communication.

Christian Church

Our group was formed in 2016 with the aim of improving Treorchy Park and its surrounding area. We host many events at the park for the public and have been instrumental in securing new playground equipment and improvements to the park infrastructure. We also operate the paddling pool each year during the summer holidays which is a much needed community resource which is free of charge.

To educate boys and girls resident in the area of Mid Rhondda through their leisure time occupation so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities.

Promote the performance of Welsh Male Voice Choir music.
