The principal activity of the GMD continues to be that of the provision of means of social engagement and recreational activities, emotional and mental wellbeing, training and support for the Deaf and their friends. In addition the protection and promotion of the welfare and interests of the profoundly deaf in the three counties of Glamorgan, without religious or other distinction.

Rhondda Sea Cadets is a voluntary, uniformed youth organisation open to young people 12-17 years and a junior section 9-11 years regardless of sex, religion or race and within the bounds of safety to themselves and others, to those with special needs. The aim of the organisation is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards

A youth organisation for people interested in the rural community aged between 10-26 years old.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Taffs Well and surrounding areas without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for:meetings, lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

To provide education, counselling and spiritual support to the public.

The preaching of the Christian Gospel, The study of the bible as the basis of all spiritual, moral and ethical teaching.The provision of places where men, woman and children can pray, especially in times of crisis & disaster. The provision of a base from which persons go out to spread the Christian Gospel & in their every day lives be exponents of Christian values.

Fund raising for animal welfare

Provides sports facilities for general public use - bowling green, football field and 3g 5 a side football courts. Clubhouse providing social meeting area for ex miners, OAP club, gardeners club and general public use.

To provide an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Law and Promise and guided by adult leadership for young people aged from 6 to 18.

EDUCATION, RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES AND FUNERAL SERVICES ETC.

We find single person accommodation in the private sector for veterans who are or at risk of being homeless or in prison and provide ongoing support during their tenancy for problems that led to their situation or with their tenancy or benefits. We refer issues such as mental health, alcohol or drug misuse, or debt, to specialist partners. We provide access to employment and lifeskills training,

Brass Band Musical Activities

To provide facilities and opportunities for outdoor experiences in the interests of social welfare for education, recreation or other leisure time occupation. This is provided for individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of youth,infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

We run a community centre and engage in conservation, community engagement and development activities and projects within Pentrebane, the wider community of Cardiff and South Wales. We hire out facilities to third parties that provide or offer services, employment, benefits to our local and wider communities in line with our constitutional aims. We work in partnership with multiple agencies.

The charity has held regular public meetings on a Sunday where we have met together to worship God, preach from the Bible and have fellowship together. Involved with New Wine Cymru's 'Mission Wales' week where teams of Christians walked town centres offering prayer to people and advancing the Gospel. Hosts a free Youth Club in Rhydyfelin to reduce the impact of poverty on young people through Eden

THE CHARITY PROVIDES PREMISES AND GROUNDS IN A SUITABLE STATE OF REPAIR FOR USE BY THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT (CWMDARE AND SURROUNDING AREA).

THE CHARITY WAS SET UP TO ADVANCE CHRISTIAN RELIGION BY ENCOURAGING CHRISTIANS TO THINK BIBLICALLY AND TO APPLY BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES TO EVERY ASPECT IN LIFE, BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF MISSIONARY WORK AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.

To offer all members of the community opportunities to undertake a range of sporting and social activities (Open Access, Dance Football, Martial Arts, Creative groups ie jewellery,cardmaking and many more) which encourage healthier lifestyles, developing new skills and working toward employment. We offer appropriate activities to all members and encourage full participation.

It provides grants of money, clothing, equipment or otherwise for the playing of rugby union football in particular or other sports or games to promote healthy recreation, social and economic welfare with the object of improving health and conditions of life for persons who are under the age of 21 years.

We run fundraising events throughout the school year for pupils, parents and the wider community. The funds raised are used to benefit the pupils at Tonysguboriau primary school

The church supports the local community by having conventions, open days and regular worship.

The object of the Church is the advancement of the Christian religion in accordance with the principles and practices of independent Baptist churches. The Church may also carry out other charitable purposes in the UK and/or other parts of the world, which are exclusively charitable according to the laws of England and Wales and as the trustees from time to time determine.
