Supporting our shelter for abandoned and persecuted dogs in Romania by raising funds for food, care, housing and veterinary expenses. Managing a team in Romania to ensure the dogs are well cared for. Providing emergency rescue response when needed. Facilitating adoptions for suitable dogs to in loving homes in the UK. Working with local authorities in Romania to provide humane solutions.

SFAC provides training, mentoring, and advice to adults working to care for and protect children. We provide support in social work, psychology (including trauma, therapeutic care, and protective behaviours), and judicial practices and processes. We work alongside local organisations (NGOs, governments and courts) and provide subsidies to small organisations so our support is accessible to all.

Our main objects are to advance the Orthodox Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with teachings of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.Funds raised come from collections, private donations, and from fundraising events.

PJAH holds two public Open Days each year, also fundraising events. Funds raised are put towards ensuring animals in the care of the Charity are happy and have a good quality of life. The main expenditure is the maintenance,upgrading hospice facilties and funding the ongoing veterinary care that comes with caring for older, palliative and disabled animals. We also support neuter schemes abroad
