Sheffield Jazz' objects are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education for the public benefit by encouraging and fostering understanding, knowledge, appreciation and development of music, the arts, and in particular jazz, by running concerts and putting on workshops. Sheffield Jazz is run on an entirely voluntary basis.

ACROBATIC GYMNASTICS

The objects of the organisation are to provide a village hall for use of the inhabitants of the parish of Wales in the county of South Yorkshire without distinction of political, religious, or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of said inhabitants.

It provides a welfare institute with facilities for physical recreation and other leisure time activities to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of Treeton and the surrounding area. It possesses a bowling green plus a function/meeting room which is available for members and the local community.

Supporting children with life limiting and life threatening illnesses and conditions such as cancer.

To assist the provision of education for children through the maintenance and support of The Brampton Ellis Church of England Infant School, The Brampton Ellis Church of England Junior School & The Hemingfield Ellis Church of England Primary School.

1. To give shelter for unwanted animals in need of care, providing medical attention or check ups as appropriate.2. Arrange microchipping of animals to help identify owners of stray pets.3. To actively seek new, suitable, permanent homes for rescued animals.4. Provide advice regarding future care and responsible pet ownership.5. Provide neutering vouchers thus preventing more stray pets.

CRESST is dedicated to helping children and young people learn conflict resolution skills that can be used in their schools and communities.

We rescue predominantly, but not exclusively, pound dogs at high risk of euthanasia. We rescue abandoned dogs.We provide assessment, training and rehabilitation, where necessary, prior to rehoming. We provide ongoing support for the dogs we rehome.We operate a non destruct policy unless advised by a veterinary surgeon on welfare grounds to do so.

To improve the quality of life for all the residents of Thurcroft and beyond, by providing a community resourse facility for groups and individuals to meet, learn and access support, as well as to enjoy leisure activites, to socialise and to celebrate.

To maintain,improve and promote the Drop-In Community Centre Building so as to ensure that it remains as an asset to the local community and is well known as being available for use for wide ranging activities relating to developing and improving social relations and general welfare.

The objects of Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus are to advance the education of the general public in choral music by the regular performance of such music from the widest possible repertoire and such means as the Committee see fit. SPC is based in Sheffield, draws it membership from a wide area and regularly performs at Sheffield City Hall as well as other national and international venues.

Provision of local news on audio cassette, memory stick or CD for blind or visually impaired people in the local area. Also provision of weekly and monthly audio magazines

THE PROMOTION AND PROVISION OF MEDIATION & CONCILIATION BETWEEN PERSONS, ORGANISATIONS & GROUPS WHO ARE INVOLVED IN DISPUTES OR INTERPERSONAL CONFLICTS. ALSO THE TRAINING & EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN METHODS OF SUCH MEDIATION & CONCILIATION, IN PARTICULAR THE NATURE AND CAUSES OF SUCH DISPUTE AND THE MEANS OF MANAGING IT.

The Charity's objectives are the provision of Almshouses to Almswomen in the Rotherham area.

The Trustees apply the income of the charity to organisations involved with persons who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm. This is achieved by providing grants to purchase items, services or facilities calculated to alleviate the suffering or assist in the recovery of such persons.Preference is given to applications for persons in need of convalescence.

OUR AIM IS TO FURTHER THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AT HOME AND ABROAD. WE HOLD WEEKLY FAMILY, GOSPEL, AND PRAYER MEETINGS TO THIS END. MEETINGS WERE ALSO HELD WEEKLY FOR THE SENIOR MEMBERS FOLLOWING A LIGHT MEAL.
