Magna is a science education adventure centre incorporating a visitor attraction with four pavilions focusing on Air, Earth, Fire and Water comprising over 100 interactive exhibits. The attraction is augmented by two outdoor play areas.

VAR provides support services to the voluntary and community groups/organisations within the borough. This is provided by the following: a volunteer centre, developing and facilitating networks and collaborative working, undertakes policy analysis and research, lobbies on behalf of the sector, runs a membership scheme, develop and manage several bespoke projects.
