A grant making charity established in 1941 by Harry Brearley, the discoverer of stainless steel.The Trustees policy is to meet the objectives whilst giving priority to organisations within South Yorkshire in the following spheres: Education (including Travel & Training);Heritage, Restoration & Environment; Music & The Arts; Recreation (including Holidays & Sport; Welfare, Health & Social Care.

We call ourselves a fresh expression of church. A fresh expression is a form of church for our changing culture, established primarily for the benefit of people who are not yet members of any church.We are very active in our local community with our biggest project being Rawmarsh Foodbank.

Hub for many groups including: Lunch Club, Senior Citizens, Youth Group,ewing class, parent & tots, craft groupsWe offer a range of services: advisory, education/employment, training opportunities, Men in shed supporting adults with mental health issues, deliver education courses We provide a food bank service and breakfast club. Deliver a range of cultrual and arts events.

Delivering Pre School Education

Session day care looking after children aged 2 to 4 years.

The provision of sheltered accommodation for female pensioners, the payment of pensions and the payment of grants to the Ministers of certain nominated nonconformist chapels.Additionally through designated funds the payment of educational grants and grants to specified disadvantaged people all within Sheffield.

To advance the education of the public, in particular (but not exclusively) those living in NorthEast England who are unable to communicate due to lack of English language skills, in thesubjects of English language and IT skills, through the provision of educational courses andactivities.

We aim to enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of our parish community by:Creating a strong centre for worship.Fostering a caring and open fellowship.Maintaining long-term service to the local community and the wider world.

Youth work, education and young peoples advice

We are a community barge service providing educational, therapeutic and leisure outings on our purpose built barge for the most marginalised communities throughout South Yorkshire. We also offer skills based training courses in boat-handling and skippering.

Girl Guiding South Yorkshire is part of Girl Guiding Uk whose statement of purpose is to promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally,mentally,physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

Our aim is to identify homeless Veterans living rough or in unsatisfactory accommodation. We then arrange suitable, sustainable accommodation in an individual or shared living environement,which ensures the candidate can access other relevant charities. A home provides a platform from which to access employment, medical, educational and other welfare benefits with the assistance of our charity

The advancement of the health,of victims of child sexual exploitation & those at risk of child sexual exploitation,who are below the age of 25, by supporting work with specialist services who promote activities,which have a proven beneficial effect on health & well-being,& advancement of education for the public benefit of young people, below the age of 25, from the care system

Scouting Organisation

youth organisation for people aged 10-26 years. Clubs arrange a weekly programme of events for their members including talks, visits and social activities. As well as weekly meetings members can also participate in sports, drama, quizzes, public speaking, community and conservation projects. Membership is open to anyone, whether they have an agricultural background or not

The Association is established for the relief of persons who have Spina Bifida and/or hydrocephalus or allied or related disorders who are resident or were formerly resident in the Sheffield postal district by providing for their care, welfare, treatment, education and integration into society.

Classes on meditation and Modern Buddhism according to the tradition of Je Tsongkhapa.

Distribution of income (in the form of grants) generated by the trust fund established from the Estate of FJ Talbot deceased, Sarah Talbot deceased and the Talbot Cuff Convalescent Fund.

Ignite Imaginations is a community arts organisation. We ignite imaginations by increasing access to high quality creative activities.

To advance such charitable purpose or purposes, as the trustees see fit from time to time for the benefit of persons resident in the counties of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire. Provided always that the trustees shall not advance or sponsor religious and animal charities or political cause.

The Federation holds Spring and Autumn Council meetings. Educational Courses for those interested in the subject, to attend. Plus the sub committees hold events (days, evenings, afternoons) relating to their particular area. Monthly meetings are held in the 60 institutes throughout South Yorkshire with speakers or demonstrators on various and interesting subjects.

We campaign to protect and enhance the countryside of the Peak District and South Yorkshire for the benefit of all by:-+Ç promoting its vitality;-+Ç encouraging sustainability;-+Ç influencing change;-+Ç increasing understanding and awareness.

The Suit Works is a free service based in the Sheffield City Region to help unemployed people to succeed at interview by building confidence through personal styling. Clients referred to the charity are given formal clothing (which they keep)and a styling session to help them look fantastic, feel confident and perform well. This unique service in the region removes a basic barrier to employment.
