A Mixed Chamber choir of twenty or so voices based at Peterborough Cathedral. The Choir performs concerts in and around Peterborough and occasionally combines with other choirs and orchestras for joint concerts. Services are regularly sung at Peterborough and other Cathedrals and music provided for society weddings.

The village hall may be rented and provides:- a, space and catering facilities for social functions. b, facilities for clubs & societies to hold meetings. c, facilities for educational & sports classes.

The financial support of music in and assistance with the maintenance of the fabric of the Parish Church known as All Saints in the town of Oakham, Rutland.

Village Hall

Engage in activites which support St Nicholas CEVA Primary School, and advance the education of the pupils attending it.

Offering grant aid to individuals and organisations in the Oakham area.

Principle aim is to contribute funds for a one week outdoor residential course for young people with Type I diabetes in Leicestershire. The course is run by the Leicestershire Parents Group of Diabetes UK.Another goal is to support young people with Type I Diabetes on adventurous activity where the control of their insulin levels would be challenging.

To relieve the needs of Deaf, Deafened, Deaf-Blind , Hard of Hearing people in Leicester and the surrounding areas, in particular by the provision by the support services, advice and education. in furtherance of the object LDAG promotes independence and supports Deaf, Deafened, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing people to participate fully in society .

Girlguiding Rutland is part of the worldwide association of girl guides. The aim of guiding is to help girls and young women develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world.

Village hall is let out to various groups from the local area. Fund raising activities are held throughout the year.

Supporting partnership and co-operation across libraries and information services in the East Midlands.

For the benefit of the public, to maintain, repair, restore, preserve, improve and enhance St Nicholas Church, Thistleton, Rutland. To raise funds through activities, donations and grants and apply these funds to the work of the charity.

Providing relief to sick aged and needy people of Rutland

The principal activity of the trust continues to be that of providing support to disadvantaged and the ethnic minority communities in the field of education, culture and social welfare.

Maintainance and upkeep of the village hall for the use of the people of the village.

Haven Youth Ranch operates in Leicestershire and carries out its purpose of promoting wellbeing by providing equestrian activities for children/young people in a peaceful, safe haven in which children can be themselves, grow in life skills and discover Christian values. Activities provided include interacting with and caring for horses, ridden experiences and general ranch activities.
