Uppinghm is a full boarding school for boys and girls aged between 13 and 18 years of age.

The Charity principally provides education in Oakham to boys and girls from the ages of 10 to 18. Many of these pupils come from the immediate vicinity of the county of Rutland, and others come from elsewhere in the UK, as well as overseas. The School's facilities are put to good educational use during holiday periods, with activities including language schools, sporting events and other courses.

Hospice care with the aim of enhancing the quality of life of patients with cancer, progressive neurological disease and other conditions, and for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People is a purpose built 14 bedded unit in Loughborough, Leics serving life threatened & life limited children, young people & their families in the East Midlands & South Yorkshire. We aim to provide the highest quality of family centred care. We provide a research based, holistic approach to respite & terminal care, symptom control & bereavement support.

The Charity's objectives are to promote and extend education in accordance with the doctrines and principles of the Church of England. The Charity also achieves and fosters links with the local community on the educational front and through the public use of its facilities.

Vista is recognised as the primary provider of services to blind and visually impaired people in the City of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

NMPAT exists (for the public benefit) to 1) advance education within the framework of the arts ; 2) advance the arts and culture by promoting and facilitating access to and performances of music and other art forms; 3) provide for the recreation of children, young people and adults by providing facilities & services in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving conditions of life

Community Advice and Law Service, trading as Leicester Community Advice and Law Centre, provides an independent specialist legal advice service in social welfare law including debt, housing, welfare benefits and immigration. We also provide financial capability support through the Moneywise Living project, energy advice and generalist advice at Foodbanks.

Disability Direct is a support service for disabled people. We are also an umbrella agency for smaller groups of disabled people. We are an organisation of disabled people and currently employ 14 paid staff and 35 volunteers.

Our mission is to be a dynamic artistic and creative centre where everyone can enjoy, learn about and make inspirational film and art; enriching individual lives and stimulating economic growth in Leicester and beyond. Provision of services to disabled persons: Information service,Independent life project,youth development,leisure services,Advocacy,direct payments,

Resettlement and rehabilitation of individuals involved in the criminal justice system, and those at risk of offending, and their families and dependents, primarily but not exclusively in Lincolnshire. We also support children and young people affected by the substance use of parents and other family members.

The Baca Charity works with unaccompanied young people who have been forced to leave their homes to seek asylum due to war and persecution or through trafficking for exploitation. Baca creates a safe environment through its holistic support for them to have hope to rebuild their lives for a better future and become positive empowered individuals who are contributors to the community they live in.

Provide a home, educational & work opportunities, based on orthodox Protestant Christian values, for the benefit of people with learning disabilities, who have expressed the desire to be supported in a provision which promotes their spiritual, material & mental welfare, & is tailored to their individual needs, & which promotes independent living and life skills development to the extent possible

The objects are for the benefit of the public of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and the surrounding areas and other part of the United Kingdom, the provision of services towards the prevention of domestic and/or sexual violence and/or abuse and the relief of persons who have suffered or are in danger of suffering domestic and/or sexual violence and/or abuse.

PROTECTING AND ENHANCING THE WILDLIFE AND WILD PLACES OF LEICESTERSHIRE AND RUTLAND AND ENGAGING PEOPLE WITH NATURE.

The charity's objects are to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the community in the City of Leicester, County of Leicestershire, and County of Rutland, and to promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of this purpose.

Charity Link administers grants on behalf of other charities for individuals in need in Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire. People suffering poverty or hardship are referred to us for help. We seek out and apply to other charities on service users' behalf and distribute any grants raised. We also provide administration services to other grant making charities.

We promote animal welfare and allieviate unnecessary suffering through education and support. Woodside Animal Centre is also an active force in achieving responsible pet ownership and responsible attitudes to all animals. We rehome (or return to the wild) and rehabilitate (where possible) animals bought to the centre.

The organisation provides a range of services under 2 main headings.a) It acts as a 'hub' for the delivery of learning by voluntary sector providersb) It provides capacity building and workforce development for voluntary organisations

To provide housing or other accomodation and any associated amenities, services and assistance for the beneficiaries. To relieve any other need of the beneficiaries primarily by providing support, training and advice and to advance the education of the public in the subject of domestic, relational and sexual violence and related issues and the prevention and treatment of the same.

The Charity provides care for adults with learning disabilities through1. Residential care for ten permanent residents.2. Two Supported living schemes for five tenants sharing a house & 2 tenants sharing a house.3. Domiciliary support to various individuals.

As an almshouse charity we are committed to providing quality accommodation for retired people who want to maintain their independence.
