Hosting training and recreational activities for people within and outside the village

We are a group of volunteers responsible for the maintenance of the village playing fields, pavilion and children's play equipment, with full responsibility for replacement when needed. We organise various fund raising activities throughout the year to help pay for repairs and renewals.

Youth Organisation

To fund local, national and international charitable objects and purposes.

To advance in life and help young people aged 30 and under resident in the geographical area of the East Midlands through the provision of grants of financial assistance to enable them to advance their education and develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.

Provide area for sports and recreation.

The main purpose of the Charity is to manage and maintain the village hall to provide an amenity for use by residents of the village. In addition, it promotes village events to encourage social interaction and a sense of community.

Provides social activities and financial help towards the fabric upkeep of All Saints Church Oakham

FUNDING THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION IN THE BIBLE IN CERTAIN RUTLAND VILLAGES

The Charity provides two rapid response vehicles to the local ambulance trust. Manned by volunteers, this asset can be dynamically positioned to where there is a need in Lincolnshire. The asset enables advance life saving skills to be utilised before a front line ambulance arrives. Emergencies ranging from breathing difficulties, chest pains to multiple vehicle RTCs are covered by the volunteers.

To advance the education of pupils in the school.

NLHA provides financial and other support to groups and individuals; holds local history conferences; publishes a magazine "The Nottinghamshire Historian"; distributes monthly newsletter; works closely with local organisations (libraries, archives, local studies departments) to promote and support local history.

The Advancement of Education and in particular the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development

Grants were made to assist and support Churches and Christian Charities carrying out Gospel work and Children's work in the area.

Social and welfare

Provision of medical aids including to aid mobility, medical materials and goods to the community of Rutland and neighbouring communities. Provision of information and practical assistance on all aspects of medical aids and encouraging greater public participation in the provision of assistance to the elderly and needy.

To deal with any call for finacial assistance from any poor and distressed member, their wives, widows, children and dependants for the relief of their suffering or maintenance or the benefit of Masonic Charities or other Charitable Institutions

Supporting families who have a member with Down Syndrome through a variety of social activities involving the whole family. Creating opportunities and financial support for friendship and fun for members with Downs Syndrome within their peer group. Fundraise to create opportunities and give financial support.

24 INNER WHEEL CLUBS MAKE UP DISTRICT 7, WHICH IS PART OF THE ASSOCIATION OF INNER WHEEL CLUBS IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND. THE DISTRICT RAISES FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BOTH AT A CLUB AND DISTRICT LEVEL, BY ORGANISING SOCIAL EVENTS IN AID OF SPECIFIC CHARITIES.

SUPPORT OF THE NEEDY AND GENERAL ROTARY FUNDRAISING

We fundraise to give Children with cancer, life limiting illness and terminally ill gifts throughout the year.

To advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by (1) developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school, (2) engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

Raising money for the school, by holding events eg. summer fair etc.

The group runs activities to advance the education of the public in all aspects of archaeology.
