The club builds model railways, largely for display purposes. Its layouts are available for charities to raise funds. Layout building enables skill transfer for the many aspects of model making, including woodwork, electric circuitry, analogue and digital propulsion control, detailed model and scenic construction. For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of rabbits in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities in Cambridgeshire for the reception, care and treatment of such animals and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre aims to provide social, recreational, educational and therapeutic support to children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs or disabilities, and their families.This includes swimming and riding lessons, Carers' Choir, Film Club and Family Support drop-in sessions and a range of holiday activities and social events.

We are a Brass Band based in the village of Hathern in North Leicestershire. We have 4 Bands - Hathern Band (the main 1st Section contesting Band), Hathern Youth Band (age ranges from 8 - 19years) Hathern Training Band (mostly children but some adults, all at early learning stage) and Hathern Concert Brass (a non contesting band).

Give grants and loans for the maintenance and improvement of churches in the county of Rutland.

To advance the education of the medical profession, primarily of General Practitioners; the promotion and delivery of medical research and the dissemination of the results for the benefit of the general public; and the relief of sickness through medical research.

Charitable activities within the parish of Edith Weston

To establish or secure the establishment of a community centre and to maintain or manage orco-operate with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a centrefor activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects.

The purpose of the charity is to provide physical and emotional support and relief of need to teenagers and young adults who have been diagnosed with and are being treated for cancer by the provision of grants and funding for equipment, events and other special activities that the trustees see fit to approve from time to time.

The Foundation directs resources towards less advantaged individuals or organisations within a local catchment area of a 15 mile radius of the Building Society's branches in Melton Mowbray, Grantham & Oakham. The Foundation will commit at least 33% & up to 50% of its resources to kickstart a community project or to establish an enduring activity or initiative for the benefit of the community.
