The Trust makes grants to charities in the Manchester and Salford area, particularly for the provision of comforts, amenities and assistance to the poor, the sick and the infirm.

To further or benefit the residents of Salford and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure

TO MAKE GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS

To relieve emotional distress through providing low cost, self-referred counselling to adults on low income, young people & children who, through lack of means would otherwise be unable to access such support. Based in South Manchester. Clients self refer via 24hour answerphone. 35 voluntary counsellors offer sessions 7 days per week. Appointment only.

To provide items, services and facilities for St Peter's C/E Prim School, St Augustines C/E Prim School and Wardley C/E Prim School. All in Swinton, or in order of priority a) Persons who are attending the schools. b) Persons who have at any time attended the school. c) Persons under the age of 25 resident in Swinton & Pendlebury.

Our main fundraising activity is our annual Variety Show produced in Manchester. Talent from across the community come together to produce an inspiring evening for ladies. The funds raised are sent directly to Israel to help teenage boys from neglected and impoverished homes with educational, financial and emotional support.

The storage, preservation and rectification of buses principally designed, developed and operated by the Selnec PTE, GMPTE and G.M. buses covering the Greater Manchester area many examples of which were built in Wigan.
