The difference that Children North East sets out to make is for all north east children and young people to grow up healthy and happy. Our mission and aim is to promote the rights of children and young people. We achieve this through strengthening and empowering children, young people and families and influencing social policy.

Landau is a supported employment and work related training organisation providing one to one support for people with learning disabilities.

Domiciliary care is provided for up to 71 elderly blind and partially sighted persons. Up to 400 blind and partially sighted persons attend our Day Centre each week to participate in stimulating and therapeutic activities. We provide Community Services to blind and partially sighted persons residing in the Midlands area. We facilitate employment opportunities for visually impaired people.

The Eveson Trust awards grants to registered charities that come within its remit and operate in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the metropolitan boroughs of the West Midlands.

Resources for Autism provides practical serices for individuals on the autistic spectrum and their families. These include music and art therapy, play and youth club services, holiday play schemes, adult art studio and social skills groups, home based family support, siblings groups and information and advice. THE CHARITY WORKS WITHIN THE ANCIENT PARISH OF HARBORNE (HARBORNE & SMETHWICK AND PARTS OF QUINTON AND BEARWOOD). IT PROVIDES GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS WHICH SUPPORT PEOPLE IN THE AREA AND ALSO PROVIDES HOUSING WITH SUPPORT FOR 100 ELDELY OR DISABLED PEOPLE

Guidance, advice and representation covering the city of Wolverhampton and Dudley borough, surrounding areas (for particular specialist legal aid cases, pension guidance, debt advice and most aspects of benefits). Influencing social policy, improving employability, financial capability and energy advice is also offered.

The charity operates 3 core services: 1. Provision of accessible transport for people with limited mobility or other health conditions; 2. Supply of donated domestic and office furniture to raise income for charitable purposes; 3. Training and work experience for disadvantaged or unemployed individuals and to voluntary and community groups.
