Religious Activities

The charity runs Great Barr War Memorial Hall for the benefit of the community. It is used by clubs for their meetings and is rented out for private functions.

We work with children and young people,elderly and members of the general public in the context of our charitable objects.We provide Christian services for the general public.We also support many missionary groups in other parts of the world that share our beliefs and objects.

To secure and manage a community centre for the Elmdon Heath & district inhabitants. For use of voluntary organisations, for use as education, social welfare, recreation and leisure activities. Also voting.

To gather together to worship God and to hear the preached word of God. To gather together for fellowship and to support and encourage all members of the congregation. To raise funds in order to further the gospel, both in the West Midlands and in the country of Uganda, where we have a number of other Link Churches.

Day Centre every other week: (1) Information Sessions, cultural activities, Lunchon club, excersise classs, training volunteers with the help of Age Concern Birmingham, Adult education, ECT(2) Visit to diffrent religious places, day outings, anuual holidays overseas which are self financed.(3) Evening functions, information, dinner & dance ect.

Round Table general fundraising

Berachah-Faith Ministries (BFM) endeavours to enhance the provision and opportunities for its beneficiaries to develop and utilise their full potential in all areas of spiritual, social and human productivity. We develop training in musical instruments as well as vocal skills in the church and the wider community. We aim to deliver positive messages.

Charity works among the Youth and old people.

Gospel Church

Makes loans to Parochial Church Councils in the Diocese of Worcester with regard to repairs and improvements to church buildings. Makes grants for licensed mission posts in the Diocese of Worcester.

Grant making

We are a very, very active old age pensioners club, for retired people, we play snooker, crib and dominoes, and we also have a very active ladies, and gents, whist drive section, and we also hold other activities each year, i.e. every year round about mid December, we hold our annual Christmas carol concert, which is conducted by one of our local Church leaders and where we all of us have a really

Main activities include:the operation of a supplementary school to support children in disadvantaged communites in Birmingham and Sandwell;the relief of unemployment by providing training to unemployed;the preservation of good health through health awareness of elderly people; andthe empowerment of disadvantaged people and single mothers, through counselling and mentoring.

Providing support for spiritual development and pastoral care to students, school staff and families impacting positively upon the school community. Enabling safe and imaginative spiritual development and learning opportunities for all ages within school and informal church contexts. Working with churches and schools to develop community relationships to their mutual benefit.

The Charity continued its support of the Bursary scheme at Coventry University, specifically supporting candidates taking degree courses in Engineering and related subjects. The Charity also continued it's policy of considering other appropriate causes primarily in the Coventry, Warwickshire and Midlands region.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellecutal, social and spiritual potential by using the traditional scouting activities of camping, hiking, canoeing, first aid etc. With a special emphasis on air activities and flying.

General Charitable Purposes across a wide range of services and we operate Birmingham City Wide, Sandwell, Dudley Walsall Wolverhampton as well as Coventry City & Solihull

To promote and assist the work of the Church of England in the Diocese of Lichfield by supporting parishes in correct and lawful stewardship of investments and property, and the trustees of local ecclesiastical trusts in the administration and management of the trusts whose assets are vested in the Diocesan Trust as Custodian Trustees. Therefore the Charity does not have assets or liabilities.

TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SANDWELL AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY.

Supply of funds in the form of grants to places of worship for the purpose of restoration of the fabric of the building

Community Advice Service (CAS) Provides activities including Advice Information & Guidance; Health, Sports, & Physical Training; Skills & Employability Advice and Support; Climate Change & Energy Advice; Interactive ESOL Language Classes; Community Capacity Building; Community Cultural Events and Community Media Shows.
