The object of National Day Nurseries Association is to support the delivery of quality care and early learning for children.

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE CHARITY ARE: TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES AND TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST ELDERLY RETIRED OFFICERS OF THE SALVATION ARMY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY FUNDING PROVISION OF RETIREMENT ALLOWANCES.

Our vision is to prevent and end allergic disease; it is also our mission to bring about positive change by focusing on law and policies, medical research and educating and raising allergy awareness. We want to ensure the needs of allergy sufferers are met in a meaningful way and to offer a real hope that will change the lives of all those living with this life threatening disease.

The objects of the Charity are to advance the education of the public, by fostering and promoting the continuing professional development (CPD) of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) educators by the provision of grants and bursaries to: schools, education service providers and any organisation that promotes, arranges or organises courses and meetings that provide CPD to STEM educators.

We provide support to disadvantaged people to improve their quality of life. Major programmes are selected and not open to application, a regional grant programme provides smaller grants to local charities. Full details are available on www.zct.org.uk.

Heart diseases claim a life every 5 minutes in the UK. We know research works and will save lives. We know that delivering community programmes across the UK will keep families together for longer. We focus on benefitting patients as soon as possible, to save more lives. We are dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of heart diseases. Until there are no more deaths from heart diseases.

ASDAN's aim is the advancement of education, by providing opportunities for all learners to develop their personal and social attributes and levels of achievement through the use and attainment of ASDAN awards and qualifications, and the relief of poverty, where poverty inhibits such opportunities for learners. We have now developed more than 80 programmes of educational activity.

Surfers Against Sewage is a national marine conservation and campaigning charity that inspires, unites and empowers communities to take action to protect oceans, beaches, waves and wildlife.

We aim to conserve invertebrates and their habitats, with current emphasis on surveys to assess the status of species in specific habitat-types, such as brownfields, soft rock cliffs and freshwater. Dissemination of our survey data, public education and the raising of awareness of the need to conserve invertebrates are also key activities. We also work to protect sites of special importance.

Horatio's Garden creates and cares for beautiful, accessible gardens in NHS spinal injury centres. Designed to improve patients' psychological and physical wellbeing, the stunning sanctuaries become a vital part of patients' lives during their long hospital stays. Events and activities are organised by the charity, including garden and art therapy, music concerts and sculpture exhibitions.

Thirtyone:eight is an independent Christian charity which helps individuals, supports organisations, charities, faith and community groups to protect vulnerable people from abuse.
