The Foundation of Nursing Studies (FoNS) is a charitable company established to advance education among the members of the nursing profession and to embed research into practice. FoNS believes all individuals should experience health and social care as person-centred, safe and effective. This includes those who are receiving care and those who are giving care.

As a charity and through partnerships, we provide parental engagement programmes to support UK primary schools. Our programmes support parents, particularly those in disadvantaged areas, by providing them with videos and activities, through our inclusive online platform. Sailors' Children's Society provides help to seafarers' children after a traumatic event such as bereavement/loss, diagnosis of terminal illness or breakdown of a marital relationship. Help includes clothing and children's welfare grants, respite breaks, emotional support and links to other specialist organisations for additional help. We aim to let children be children during difficult times.

Genetic Alliance UK is an alliance of over 230 charities and support groups. We have a 30-year track record of working together to improve the lives of people in the UK with lifelong and complex genetic and rare conditions. We run two long-standing projects, Rare Disease UK and SWAN UK.

For the public benefit, to relieve by such means as are charitable, children and adults who have had foster care or residential care experience by the provision of support, advice, resources, assistance (financial or otherwise), grants, programmes and other activities.

The Charity's priority is the provision of support and information to those affected by ovarian cancer. Ovacome provides support across the UK in many ways, including; face to face support groups; phone lines; an online forum. Ovacome provides up to date information and raises awareness of the symptoms among the medical community and public. The Charity supports appropriate research.
