The Mayor of Sefton's Charity carries out various fund raising activities throughout the Mayoral Year.The charity currently has three area committees which raise money directly for the charity:Crosby, The Parishes and Southport.The Mayor of Sefton's Annual Charity Ball also takes place to raise money for the charity

Promote all aspects of health education among young people, especially the issues of healthy lifestyles and anti-drugs education. Promote drug awareness & citizenship to young people, helping them to make the right choices in life.

RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF OWNERS OF COMPANION ANIMALS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, HELP AND ADVICE REGARDING THE NEUTERING OF THEIR ANIMALS; ANDTO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ANIMALS BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE REGARDING THE NEUTERING OF COMPANION ANIMALS AND EDUCATING THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING

Southport soup Kitchen's goal is to offer help and support to any one in need in the local community. Our mission is to feed and support those in need by providing hot meals and drinks as well as food parcels and resources such as toiletries and other daily essentials.

Makes grants to the aged, blind and disabled persons and pensioners

Age-appropriate preventive education for young people and awareness for parents/carers around the dangers & consequences of Volatile Substance Misuse, Substance Misuse, Vaping and County Lines. Training for professionals and community awareness events. Support and/or counselling for the user and their families.

The objects set out in the Declaration of Trust dated 27 April 1983, including the provision of scholarships to Merchant Taylors' School Crosby, the provision of plant, equipment, furniture to the said School, the improvement of the site of the said School and for associated and related purposes as therein defined.

The Object of the Canning Road Evangelical Church CIO is, for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith in Southport, Merseyside and such other parts of the United Kingdom and the world as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide.

All center based and some working in partnership with other voluntary groups/public sector bodies.

The Crosby Orchestral Society performs as the Crosby Symphony Orchestra in the Sefton, Liverpool and neighbouring areas. The Society aims to foster the general public's appreciation of orchestral and chamber music by presenting a varied repertoire in public concerts each year.

We run regular coffee morning and afternoon sessions, which are often attended by a guest speaker from Health, Education or the local authority. We also run events for parents three times a year, where they meet representatives from different organisations and get to speak to them in person and seek advice and support. We also attend strategic meetings with our local authority.

To advance the well-being and education of the public by provision of community activities and library resources in the former Station Master's House in Birkdale for the benefit of the residents of Birkdale and Southport and the surrounding area within the borough of Sefton.

The Club teaches swimming to children and young adults from age of 4 to enable them to reach their full potential in competitive swimming

To provide a Progressive Jewish Ethos and services for the Jewish community in Southport and to help maintain the Jewish Cemetery.

To promote the conservation, protection and enhancement of nature and the amenities of the country in the UK for the purpose of study and research and otherwise for the benefit of the public and to educate and stimulate the interest of the public in all things and areas of natural and scientific interest and to acquire suitable areas of land for the purpose of nature conservation.
