The aims and objectives of the charity are to provide residents a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which care and well being are of prime importance.

Greenbank was set up to enhance the opportunities and status of people with disabilities through education, training, employment, and recreation.Greenbank offers its services to the local community and is particularly supportive of disabled people and disadvantaged groups. We provide work related training, a guidance service, employment related projects, sport and recreation and education.

Provision of swimming pool, fitness and ancillary facilities for the use of inhabitants and visitors of Formby and the surrounding area in the interests of social welfare and health.

FACT provides a range of activities including an exhibition programme including installations, screenings, etc by artists working with digital and visual arts media; a collaboration programme working with local communities; a range of moving image and new media resource services that support the arts sector; education and training initiatives for a range of audiences; and a research programme.

The Bluecoat is Liverpool's Centre for the Contemporary Arts.Our purpose is to open up creative possibilities for individuals and communities. Liverpool Biennial is an ongoing platform for research, commissioning and presenting international art, education and debate. Liverpool Biennial Festival brings an international focus to our work. It is the moment when the world comes to Liverpool to engage with our thinking, and when we present art to the world.

Emotional and practical support, therapies, information, advice and guidance with women, children and families through counselling, groups, activities, drop ins and open access sessions at our Centres and through outreach and home visits. Woodlands Hospice is an independent charity providing specialist palliative care to individuals with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Multi-professional care is accessed through day therapy, community outreach and specialist out-patient clinics plus an in-patient unit and Hospice at Home to enhance quality of life, enabling patients and families to live life as fully as possible.

RASA offers support & counselling anyone who has experienced any form of sexual violence (Rape, CSA, CSE) at any time in their life. We offer support, counselling, advocacy, training, groups,court & CJS support. We work with adults & children - children receiving specialist support in our Sunflowers Children's Service. In the case of very young children, RASA will work with parents or caregivers.

The Company is established for the promotion, maintenance, and improvement of horticulture for the public benefit, lifestyle, educational and environmental activities in relation to the same.

To support high quality patient care, focusing on areas not fully supported by exchequer funds such as improvements to the Hospital environment and better facilities. As a large teaching hospital, the Trust also has links with the local universities, and another important aim of the charity is providing financial aid to support and encourage our clinicians in new research projects.

Koala North West offers emotional and practical support to families. We aim to strengthen and widen the social support network of families. Volunteers, who are parents themselves are carefully matched to the needs of the family; they then visit the family at home, building a strong supportive relationship offering friendship, reassurance and practical help.
