Fundraising for and promoting social links within St Bridgets School.

The object of the Jacob Billington Trust is to support young people in the borough of Sefton, Liverpool, withtheir pursuit of creative arts opportunities; primarily, but not exclusively through financial support.Our work includes part-funded music lessons on a referral basis, monthly songwriters workshops and events to showcase young, local musicians and creative artists.

The Trust makes small grants to individuals in the Anglican Diocese of Liverpool who are attending second chance learning through Further Education establishments, including ESOL programmes. Grants are for the books or equipment the individual needs for their educational courses or training programmes.

We run community activities including: Youth & Junior club, education groups, senior citizens group, karate (adults only)

We perform operas, operettas and other musical events to local audiences in community venues in Merseyside and around. These are normally sung in English and by amateur singers. We also arrange master classes and other educational events to help our performing members, and the general public, develop their musical and dramatic skills and their understanding and appreciation of musical drama.

Our charity runs different events throughout the year, with our biggest being the School Christmas fair. Family bingos and children's discos are also a big hit.

Provision of GirlGuiding Services

A group which exists to improve the lives of people with disabilities through the provision of horse riding.

Provide and present public concerts and recitals so as to promote and develop the appreciation of music.

We aim to encourage sport, fitness and well being to the general public through the use of physical classes and in particular the martial art of judo. We also use other community classes to expand the local community spirit and cohesion.

Provision of pensions for Merchants of London, Liverpool and Bristol who are in reduced circumstances or failing them Merchants not less than sixty years of age resident in England.

In the financial year, Bengali Cultural Association of Lancashire Donated ?300.00 to the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission, Bolton United Kingdom.

Our aim is to provide resources to enhance the education and development of children at our school and early years centre. We try to provide a wide range of activities and services throughout the year to both parents and children.

THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION (THE OBJECTS) IS TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS IN THE SCHOOL IN PARTICULAR BY:2.1 DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL2.2 ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES OR PROVIDING FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS.

Raising money for St Nicholas School, Blundellsands

We hold school fundraising events throughout the year to raise money for school resources. We do sponsored reading, own clothes days, discos, fairs, movie nights and various other fundraising activities

Provides a safe environment to teach children between the ages of 10 and 18 about the Royal Navy, discipline, seamanship, engineering, sailing, rowing, and many other skills.

We hold fundraising days within the school at various dates throughout the school year. These include: bingo, fetes, quiz nights and seasonal activities.
