The charitys aim is to help improve the well being, health, education and care of people on Merseyside. We focus on important issues affecting social and medical care needs whilst promoting community adhesion. We support projects and schemes that improve health, education and well being. We also try to increase understanding of the health & education trends of our community.

Provision of and management of Gymnastics facilities and instruction in Liverpool, providing support and activities to develop members skills capacities and capabilities, and promoting community participation in healthy recreation.

Animal welfare charity

Furthered the whole mission of the Christian Church: Providing worship services, Alpha etc. Small groups. Supporting Christian individuals/Charities working in the UK and abroad. Providing clubs and activities for children, teenagers and adults including the elderly. Helping the poor and needy in our area. Providing a venue. Holidays arranged. Improving women and girls mental health & emotional wellbeing. Providing targeted support for those affected by mental ill health, domestic abuse, inequality, poverty, isolation and loneliness. Counselling : Befriending; Holistic Therapies and Advocacy to support progression and recovery. Support groups for women and girls to understand and manage depression, anxiety, loss and grief.

Operates as a cafe church with activities including the offer of pastoral listening; an accessible Christian presence; regular public worship, prayer, bible study, preaching and teaching; the teaching, encouragement, welcome and inclusion of young people; nurture and growth of Christian disciples; education and training for Christian community service; supporting social action in Sefton.

DEAF ACTIVE EXISTS TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE LIVES OF DEAF AND HEARING CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND ADULTS IN MERSEYSIDE. WE PROVIDE AWARENESS RAISING SESSIONS, SIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING, INLUSIVE PLAY PROVISION, AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS, YOUTH CLUBS, RESIDENTIAL BREAKS AND YOUTH EXCHANGES. WE PROVIDE FITNESS AND WELLBEING CLASSES, PERSONAL TRAINERS AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO DISADVANTAGED PEOPLE.

The charitable purpose of the u3a is the advancement of education and, in particular,the education of older people and those who have retired from full time work, by all means' including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development

Our community hub is a friendly setting offering support, advice, well-being & social activities, fitness classes, mental health/interest courses, community cafe, food pantry & counselling.We also run Streetwise offering practical & relational support to women involved in sex work & addiction through a night van outreach, harm reduction and 1 to 1 support.

We work with parents and other adults who have suffered the traumatising effects of war, torture and displacement. Through our work with refugees and people seeking asylum, we seek to improve their life chances and their mental health and wellbeing. We provide therapy, often with horticulture. We also offer practical support with benefits, education and housing matters.

Maintain the interests of the regiment and antecedent regiments by providing welfare and benevolence support to serving and retired members of the regiment.

The charity awards grants to those organisations in the North West of England who the late Doreen Greenlees wished to benefit via the trust contained in her will. This includes organisations committed to the welfare of animals, the maintenance of the fabric of and structural alterations and additions to buildings used for Christian worship and alleviating poverty through Christian social welfare.

Our services help to keep Chinese Elders in independent living as long as possible. We provide Domiciliary Care and Respite Services , Personal Wellbeing Services, a pre and post diagnostic dementia support service. Our Evergreen Club provides health talks including Covid related and various activities which reduce social isolation, loneliness and help to improve physical and mental wellbeing.

Providing training and educational resources for young people and people from disadvantaged groups.

The Greenhouse Project exists to enable children, young people, their families and communities to access opportunities that support their creative development, understanding and celebration of diversity. It delivers a programme of media, performance and visual arts workshops, activities and events, educational outreach, Early Years Education and a Play Days Out of School hours initiative.

THE PURPOSE OF SCOUTING IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.

Merseyside Jewish Community Care aims to provide a comprehensive welfare service for Jewish individuals and families in Merseyside, and organisations and professionals who interact with the Community.

To advance, in a manner which the trustees see fit, the charitable objects of The National Museums and Galleries on Merseyside (NMGM), and to advance the education of the public throughout the world in any manner conducive to, and compatible with the charitable objects of NMGM, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, in particular by widening participation in charitable education.

To provide emotional support to people who have been affected by cancer. We offer a variety of services including cancer specific groups, complimentary therapies, counselling, one to one work and welfare benefits advice. Tai Chi and the 'Feel Good Factor' a programme consisting of Art and Music Therapy and Creative Writing, have been introduced recently.

Providing supported housing to people with learning disabilities and other vulnerable people in the Greater Merseyside area.
