Formed is 1881, we have provided a recreational outlet for the inhabitants of Kiveton Park and it's surrounding villages for over 135 years. Located roughly equidistant between Sheffield, Rotherham and Worksop we today cater for 28 teams and provide an safe enjoyable environment for more than 400 girls and boys.

Provision of Almshouses

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. Sheaf Scout District supports Explorer Scout Units and the Scout Groups across south Sheffield to encourage the young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we support our members by providing the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

A community pre-school offering the local community a range of pre-school options for pre-school children.

Weston Park was the first municipal park in Sheffield and is one of the most significant historic parks and is very popular with local residents and visitors to the city. Heritage Lottery has enabled the full restoration of the park to take place. There is an active friends of group who work closely with Parks and Countryside Officers to monitor and improve the site.

The Scout group provides education and training opportunities to its members, including activities in arts, culture, sport and recreation. We provide our own premises for these activities including outdoor space.Many activities are provided through overnight camps and away days. We also provide care and counselling services to those members in need.

We run a community centre and activities that benefit the residents of the area of Broomhall in Sheffield, through education, social activities, health and well-being, youth provision and any other identified need.

For the public benefit, the relief and assistance of people in need in Yemen, who are the victims of war and/or victims of natural disasters by supplying them with food, shelter, medicine, clean water, educational materials and other relief items

Independent advocacy and participation service working across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - enabling homeless people within housing, health and social care settings to have a voice, participate within the services they receive and empower them to reach their full potential.

The prevention or relief of poverty, amongst people residing primarily, but not exclusively, in the S8 postcode area of Sheffield by the provision of emergency food parcels, items, services and facilities to help individuals in financial need.

We manage a community Centre, providing services and activities previously unavailable in the shirecliffe area.
