We are running an after school project for young people.Young people from the black African community are benefiting from various activities including tennis table play, pool table, computer game, Nintendo play mentoring, professional advice, and guidance. This project is mainly targeting young people from Africa living in Bedford but no exclusively the wider community.

skills development,teaching young and old people to develop skills in areas like music,playing musical instruments,sewing,baking and people coming on sunday for church fellowsip and socialisation.

TCS has succeeded in negotiating a long term lease from Sheffield City Council for a sports area including tennis, crown green bowls and a public open area including a MUGA. The aim is to create high quality sports facilities accessible to all the community with the support necessary for anyone to play at all levels.

Africa United works to improve the lives of African people and other minority communities in Sheffield and neighbouring towns. AU provides free information on: Benefits & Entitlement, Career, Education, Training, Health & Well-being, Housing Issues,Basic Immigration information, Employment and Volunteering,BME engagement and participation, Mentoring and Advocacy.

Providing live football and rugby commentaries to Hospital Patients and the Blind

Charitable donations are given to the Lord Mayor from various individuals and organisations throughout the year. These are controlled by the Lord Mayor's Office acknowledging donations, banking the money and keeping appropriate records.

Makes small (under -ú100) grants for youth, training, educational, or evangelistic purposes.

To raise funds and give advice to local people who suffer from kidney problems. To provide funds for equipment and research into kidney related problems and treatments.To provide publicity and promote organ donation for transplantation through the National Organ Donor Register.

We raise money for this special school to spend on equipment, activities and services beyond those provided by the Education Authority.In this way the staff can offer broader, richer experiences to communication-disordered children, and the local community can make use of the facilities when appropriate.

Boccia Sheffield promotes the playing of the disability sport of boccia in Sheffield and the surrounding area. The club provides weekly coaching sessions, which include training on various aspects of the game, along with the opportunity to play boccia matches. The club also supports athletes and encourages them to play at various competitions organised on a local and national level.

The charity administers and funds the Percival J. Hay Memorial Prize which is awarded for a critical essay or paper in the field of ophthalmology, which may or may not have been published. The winner receives a certificate and a small sum of money. It also funds an annual memorial lecture in the field. Owing to the Covid-19 pandemic the charity has had no expenses since April 2020.

To provide for the theatrical education of young persons resident in Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire who are members of an operatic or dramatic society affiliated to the National Operatic and Dramatic Asssociation and to make grants to assist in disbursing the cost oftheir attendance at Theatre School Courses or Study Groups.

The Objects of the CIO are, for the public benefit to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Faith in Sheffield and such other parts of the United Kingdom and the world as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide; and the relief of persons who are in need, in particular but not limited to, young people and those suffering destitution or poverty.

The Charity provides grants to eligible charitable organisations. Whilst the Trustees have absolute discretion, the overall mix of grants over time represents approximately 30% to the North of England Zoological Society, 30% to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and 40% to various charitable organisations mainly in the Sheffield region, often those supporting community-based projects.

Financial support is given through Grants or by the Charity purchasing specific items directly for the applicants. Applications are received via referrals from local health care providers or directly from local families living with Cancer. The Charity operates from Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Rescue, rehabilitate & rehome where possible, equines, cats & dogs. We act as a 'safe house' for RSPCA, police & other groups rescued horses. We allow visits from schools, disadvantaged people, disabled and other interested parties.

The charity raises funds for extra curricular activities and equipment, to enhance and extend the cultural experiences and opportunities for development for its pupils/students who all have Special Educational Needs
