Provides horse riding, equestrian vaulting and opportunities to socialise in a supportive environment to people with disabilities, mental health conditions and children living in care. We also offer volunteering and educational opportunities, such as equine related qualifications and awards, and opportunities to be out in the open air and countryside.

The objects of the charity are to provide financial assistance to the charity registered as the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Limited to secure the preservation, restoration, improvement, enhancement and maintenance of features of historic and industrial importance.

General Charitable Donations for relief of poverty and distress and advancement of education by contributions to individuals, groups, and such charities already existing for this purpose.

Promotion and organisation of arts and educational activities in the Mid-Wales Border area

By our practise, promotion and study of music, often in association with other like minded bodies, we aim to foster public knowledge and appreciation of music by means of public performance. Such public performances enable us to raise funds which are then used to benefit local charities.

PROVISION OF A SCRAPSTORE FOR SCRAP MATERIALS TO ASSIST IN TRAINING FOR GROUP PLAY AND PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES MATERAIALS AND EQUIPMENT TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE IN SHROPSHIRE AND TELFORD AND WREKIN

To provide professional and immediate response to search and rescue calls from Staffordshire Emergency Planning Department to assist the Police, Fire and Ambulance Services in order to save lives and render assistance as required in Staffordshire and adjacent counties. To assist and liaise with other voluntary bodies wherever required.

The provision of leisure/educational activities and a non-alcoholic bar for young people in the Bridgnorth area under the supervision of qualified youth workers.The Bridge operates in the centre of Bridgnorth from its own premises which are open on Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout the year.

To advance the education of children in all forms of literary and creative arts, for the benefit of the public, in particular, but not exclusively by encouraging awareness of and developing interest in all forms of children's literature.

The Club operates training sessions at Ludlow Leisure Centre on five days of the week. The Club promotes community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of Ludlow and South Shropshire and their surrounds by providing facilities for the teaching, practice and competition of swimming and other water sports activities across the region.

Applying the income of the Charity in or towards providing convalescent treatment for poor patients on their being discharged from a Shropshire hospital or for other poor patients in any convalescent home or any institution. Applying the same for the benefit of sick and poor patients resident in Shropshire as the Trustees in their discretion think fit.

Relief of poor and in need

The Foodbank provides 3 days emergency food to those in crisis that live within the town and surrounding area. Food is provided upon the presentation of an authorised voucher. These vouchers are issued by 'Care Professionals' such as Doctors, Health Visitors, etc.. 51 different Referrer organisations are currently registered. The Foodbank is operated twice a week by a rota of 40 volunteers

A rural youth organisation for people aged 10 to 26

Shrewsbury U3A has self organised interest groups for people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age. This being the period of time after the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility.

Polish language classes for children

Scouting

Provides safety and social awareness training for up to 1500 ten year old children a year from 50 schools in the Shrewsbury and Oswestry area. Children of all abilities attend an annual event during the first two weeks in June. The appropriate specialists provide 14 scenarios which include; internet safety, cyber bullying, drugs and alcohol awareness, safety in and away from the home, etc.

To provide transport for the children of Rushburys C of E School and the funds raised from that help to assist in the facilities not required to be provided by the Local Education Authority.

The principal aim of the Charity is the care of sick clergy and retired clergy of Shrewsbury Catholic Diocese (who are members of the fund) through financial grants.
