The Charity provides a Community facility at a modest cost for persons of all ages and, at the same time, an attractive venue for business and social events such as dinners, wedding receptions and birthday and anniversary parties. The fees received for the latter activities are essential in order to satisfy the former important and principal requirement.

We provide workshops and acting training for Children from the age of 7yrs to 18yrs.Also we produce Plays and Pantomimes for the pleasure of the local community with both adults and children taking part.

Village Hall providing community access to a range of activities, including WI, childrens' events, social occasions, sports clubs, local college classes, fund raising venue for other institutions within the community, etc.

Our aim is to specialise in the rescue of sick, injured and orphaned Wildlife. our aim is to nurse them back to health then release them back to the wild.We also specialise in the rescue of Chihuahuas and Chinese other small breed dogs. We take in these 'unwanted' pets and place them in foster homes until a permanent home can be found for them. We do not use kennels

The charity's objectives are the conservation and enhancement of the natural beauty, landscape, wildlife and historic value of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It awards grants to projects carried out by individuals and groups whose activities support these objectives. It is also concerned to advance understanding and awareness of the environmental value of the AONB.

Provision of houses for the elderly

Running the Aston on Clun village hall.

Promote the education of the general public in appreciation and understanding of music. Co-operate with the local authorities, educational institutions and cultural societies relating to study, practice and presentation of music. Offer musical training to young people. Perform music in various functions and charities as a service to the public.

General fundraising events to raise money for school items including a bike show and refreshments at school events, lucky number draw, 50/50 bucket and raffles.

Fundraising to provide extra funds to enhance the education of our pupils both in school and out of school.

The charity provides recreational facilities for use by the village and surrounding areas. There is a pavillion, with main Hall, kitchen and toilets. Outside there is a playing field, Multi Use Games Area and a childrens playground.

Providing Blood Testing and general information about Prostate Cancer,arranging Awareness events to provide talks and handouts.

St Andrews P.T.A main functions are to raise funds to support various projects which enhanced school life for the children of the school. The P.T.A also represent the parents of the school on important issues such as Road Safety, promotion of the school, bullying etc.

Provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the school, not normally provided by the Local Education Authority. Engage in activities which support the school.

PROVIDES A LOCAL COMMUNITY SPACE TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS FOR SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL USE. HALL REPRESENTS A MEMORIAL TO THOSE LOCAL PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT AND DIED IN THE GREAT WAR

The purpose of Muxton PTFA is to raise additional funds to support Muxton Primary school.

The Friends make grants available to the potteries museums and art gallery and Gladstone Industrial Museum to enable them to acquire objects and carry out activities which they would otherwise not be able to do. The friends therefore only indirectly help the classifications shown above.

The Charity is a Male Choir which promotes, develops and maintains public education in and appreciation of male choral singing by the presentation of public concerts and recitals
