PROVISION OF VILLAGE HALL TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Raise funds to further enhance the pupils of Longnor Primary Schools learning, by providing bikes, tablets, outdoor equipment.

To manage Abdon Village Hall and arrange social events for the community of Abdon and those living close by.

TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE A SWIMMING POOL AND RELATED RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF ALBRIGHTON AND ITS VICINITY, AND OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID USERS.

To provide First Aid and support to the communities within Ashley and Loggerheads and the surrounding areas following a 999 call to West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust or its successors.To provide trained volunteers to attend medical incidents as directed by West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust or its successors.

A lively self-motivating organisation for social, academic and practical activities for people not in full time employment.

Provides practical advice and help to dyslexic people of all ages in Shropshire. Affliated to the British Dyslexia Association. Helpline advice, assessments and screening, tutor information, workshops, conferences and talks, British Dyslexia Association magazine.

We are a Brass Band currently in the fourth Section and we hail from Wem in North Shropshire. We have approximately 30 members in the Senior Band with an age range from 9 years of age to 80 years of age. Our aim is to bring the world of Brass Band playing by perfroming and particiaption to as wide an audience as possible within the County of Shropshire and beyond.
