The prime object is conservation, improvement, enhancement & replacement of the fabric of St Mary's Church & Churchyard only according to our trust deed 1993.

We are a Brass Band currently in the Third Section and we hail from Wem in North Shropshire. We have approximately 35 members in the Senior Band and 30 members in our Training Band with an age range of 8 to 80 years. Our aim is to bring the world of Brass Band music, playing and performing to as wide an audience as possible within the County of Shropshire and beyond.

To promote Brass Music by showcasing brass bands of all standards and abilities from the Shropshire area and further afield, in a non-competitive annual Festival. To encourage people of all ages and cultures to engage with brass band music both as a player or follower and those new to this type of music.

We raise funds via summer fetes, Christmas fetes etc to assist in providing resources to enrich the education of the children attending the school

SMADA is a parent support group supporting music at the Academy. The Group's main aim is to raise funds to support all the bands within the Academy at the various concerts, events and festivals. Assistance is also given to students with music grade examination fees, present concerts in order to support musical development and assists other local organisations in their fundraising.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES. THIS DONE BY THE PROVISION OF MEETING HALLS AND PUBLIC OUTREACH IN THE SHROPSHIRE AREA.

Day centre care for the elderly

The Day Centre is open for one day per week and is run by volunteers. They arrange transport and a meal is provided and activities and companionship. It is open to frail, housebound, older people.

To provide and maintain a village hall for all people in the local community and beyond.

We built our own 'Bethany Children's Home' which can accommodate up to 20 children in Dhading, Central Nepal. As well as providing a home and family, we also fund their education and job training so they can have independent futures.We also support a number of local village projects, including fresh water supply, local schools, health clinic and community centre, plus disaster relief efforts.
